Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning,
I think everyone slept in today. I was up at 6 as usual, but have been trying to finish my laundry room. I think it is cleaned up now. At least, nothing is left on the floor or the bed in our bedroom.
Nancy, have you seen a blood specialist? A friend from Lacon has a blood disorder that thickens her blood,, plus other things. Please find out what is wrong, and it that means a trip to Mayo's, so be it.
Crystal, I admire you for wanting to run a 5K. Just be careful.
Ok, my break is over, now back to work.

Hello everyone
Well it's a nice sunny day but I wi**** was warmer. I will get my newspaper. Then workout and go to the co-op for some produce. Then the rest of my day is relaxation.
Jasper was a holy terror this morning. I was in the other room when I heard a loud crash. I came into the living room to find the end table tipped over and the lamp and everything on the floor. I think the problem is he getting bigger and still wants to romp around like a kitten but he is too big and is ****ing stuff over. Then the other day he knocked down my curtains!!!
So how what are you doing with your Sunday?

Hello Everyone
I am enjoying a dinner of mixed vegetables and chicken -- yummy and easy. Today went by so fast. I went shopping for groceries and messed around the house. Tomorrow I am taking the day off. I need one.
Lisa, the onocologist I am seeing is a blood specialist. He has taken so much blood it is not funny. Some of the tests are being sent to Mayo's. Who did your friend see?
Crystal, it is really great that you are going to do the marathon! You go girl! Jasper will calm down soon and then you will wonder where that cute playful kitty went to. He will turn into a sleeping lump!

I did not get the job. I still have not figured out why they need a person with a bachelor's degree to be an administrative assistant! Whatever happened to "life & job" experience? It is their loss. I was told that the person they choose is "short term" (and almost has a master's degree - go figure - over qualified in my eyes!) and will probably will only be there 2 years tops. Well, I am not waiting around that long nor am I going to go through another interview like that again! The fact of the matter is that my boss (he was not part of the interview process) is the sort that will rub your nose in things when you least expect it and has a bad habit of "getting" even - under handedly. Remember - I work in quasi military employment. It is different than the real world - the bosses can get away with things that would not happen in the rest of the world.
I have asked and asked Dave to sit down and go over expenses vs what I would receive with my pension if I were to retire now and he has flat out said to just do my best, be glad I have a job and to work etc. I am flipping tired of that reasoning. He does not listen to what I am going through emotionally and is taking a male approach (and basically how his parents handled everything) to it. There are times that I am just ready to break over that reasoning. I finally found a person that is familiar with financial planning and a municipal pension. Now if I can get him to not drag his feet and do his part about gathering expense numbers on paper. . .
