Hello everyone
I hate Mondays....it's such a long time till Friday.
Today is work and working out...nothing exciting.
I am sooo looking forward to Spring. I am trying to plan what I want to do with the little garden area I have. The soil is very very bad. I tried to clear it of debris and add organic soil....I hope that was enough. I think I want to do wildflowers (because they grow under hard conditions)??? I'm not sure. I'm still thinking about it.
Christine- I'm sorry about the job. I don't understand about the degree thing either. I have worked with people that hold higher degrees than me over the years and they don't seem any more knowledgeable about my job. I don't think a degree means that you are a better candidate. I hope you will be able to retire. You are lucky to have a pension...you don't see pensions in the private sector.
Nancy- I hope all you blood tests come out well. I don't mind having blood taken but....sometimes enough is enough already!!!!
Well I have to get have a great day....bye

Good Morning Everyone!
I am home with a vacation day today!
I relaxed this morning and played and brushed the cats. They loved it. Now I need to tackle my taxes so they can get into the tax man in time. Not much else happening for me today which is nice.
Steven, I am so glad that someone is going to a place that is warm. Enjoy! I hope the weather is great for you! Have a wonderful time.
Crystal, I have spring fever as well. You may want to work some pulverized bark or soiless mixture or organic matter into your flower beds. You can get this at garden centers. I did that when I first moved here. IT really makes the soil nice. The use the mulch around your plants. It will break down and also nourish the soil.
Christine, I am so sorry about the job. That really hurts. Especially when you have all those years of experience. It is sometimes hard to understand what people are thinking. I dont blame you for being upset. Look into your options. Give it a while to let the dust settle and go from there. It may be better that you did not get it. Sometimes things happen for a reason we dont understand. As hard as this is, you may have been saved from a horrible situation.
Just remember, that you were well qualified and it is their loss not yours. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/ohkiss.gif)
Dawn, you are one busy lady. I dont know how you do it all. I hope you are enjoying the new gym and are able to find one that works for you.
Have a great day!

Good Afternoon,
Steven, have a great trip, and soak up the sun.
Christine, I am sure whatever decision you make regarding your job will be fine. You have 30years in right? See what your retirement is verses what you bring home. That should give you an idea of what you will be looking at.
Nancy, my friend with the blood problems goes to someone in Peoria. I could not get hold of her today to ask her.
Dawn and Crystal, I hope you both had good weekends.
I have an appointment at the hospital to have the biopsy of my breast done on Wed. I talked to the surgeon today, he said that that these things are 80% benign. Time will tell.
Enjoy the rest of the day.
Hugs, LISA

Lisa, I am vested at 8 years. I can take retirement at 55 (I am 58) by state statute for municipal workers. I have all the numbers crunched. i can go on my pension website and look at different age/years of service scenerios. We want to go to a financial planner to get a professional view of everything. This will not be a planner that we invest with - just one to look over the numbers and for him or her to make recommendations.
