Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning.
Yesterday turned out to be a very eventful day. Both good and bad. I went and had labs done at the hospital, at 6:30 a.m. I was home by 7. I then went back to the hospital at 10:15, to have a 2nd mammogram, and a sonogram done of my left breast. There is some small legion, on the right side, that has some calcification around it. So now, I have to have a biopsy done. But first I need to see the surgeon, and my own Dr. So, a new chapter in this life starts.
On the other hand, we went to Bloomington last night and saw the play that the Jr,. High had of the Little Mermaid. It was a fun evening.
Today, I am rearranging the one bathroom. I have a 5 drawer chest that I am going to put into the bathroom for towels and stuff. I needed to get it out of Hubert's train room, so that is where it is going to live. Plus a few errands today, that I didn't do yesyerday.

Hello everyone
I'm so glad it's Saurday. I relaxed in bed for awhile. Now I'm up and relaxing in my recliner. I just wish the weather was nice like it was earlier in the week. It would be nice to open the door or sit on the patio. But I guess it will happen sooner or later.
Today I will be working out with Amanda and then we are going to buy some running gear for me for next week (the 5K is next week). I need a long lseeve shirt that wicks away sweat and new running socks. Then we are going for lunch.
Yesterday was an annual tradition at University of Illinois tradition called Unofficial. It was started by the bar owners because St Pats day is during Spring break and they were missing out on a big drinking holiday. So they came up with this and it became a huge deal. And now kids from colleges from all over the state and even from out of state come here to do nothing but drink.
Amanda said they start from early in the morning and continue all day and into the night. She said it's not uncommon to see kids puking in the street, on the bus or in the dorms. She said they come to class drunk. She thought the whole thing was stupid as a student (thank God). I used to get letters from the university as a parent to warn my kid against the "holiday" but I didn't have to because she already thought it was insane. I guess over the years a couple of kids have died doing stupid things while drinking. I'm glad I live far away enough off campus that I didn't see or hear anything last night.
Lisa- I hope your biopsy results are going to be positive.
Well time to go eat my breakfast...have a wonderful day...bye

Nancy has been busy. I have had to keep going to get blood drawn after work and go for a doctor visit. Still do not have the complete results The onocologist thinks I have a genetic factor that makes my blood too thick. I also may be deficient in B 12 and folic acid. Plus i am having more test done to see if I am storing iron. Every time I turn around they want more blood. Nice vampire --- back off!
It has been late almost every evening by the time I have gotten on the computer. I've been lurking but not posting. Not enough energy left at the end of the day.
Lisa, my thoughts are with you on the biopsy. That is scary and not fun. Good luck. Positive vibes are being sent your way.
Crystal, are you going to run in the 5K? Last I heard you were still debating.
