What does old mean?

Doctors, doctors, doctors.  Too many copays.  Not going because of the copays and never able to get a straight answer about anything from most docs.

Buying clothes in Florida reminds me of me.  I bought the next two smaller sizes of uniform pants last time I was in Texas but now the smaller size is too big,

Last Saturday I began to work through Chapter 2 of a Unix book with a Mac I have on loan and it went to a blue screen.  Technically not Windows blue screen because there was not an error code.  Just a big ole blue screen.  I traded out Macs and am trying to convince myself to turn it on and work on the chapter again.

Breaking a sweat is not important.  Only inportant to get your heart rate into fat burning range.

I do not have a copay but I have to do some of the paperwork and file the EOB with Allied Benefit and then write a check when the invoice comes for the remaining money that I receive from Allied. Which is what I have been doing today. It is a pain but it helps keep our monthly premium (on the paycheck)  lower. Our ins. is 100% so it is worth doing the paperwork. Thankfully the chapter of my life is over with Dr Qwack that was my primary - so I do not feel like the youngest one in the waiting room. I am now just going to the doc for an injury or for regular BP & thyroid checks.

Great job on the clothing being too big!

See with my insurance I do have a copay of $25 but follow up appointments are covered 100%.  So if I see the doctor for the same thing (like my migraines) I will say to make sure you code this as a follow up.  I pay the copay and in about a month I get a check to reimburse me.  If I go in for an entirely new thing like my pink eye then it's a new charge.  I used to be a person that never went to the doctor...only when I was sick.  This going to the doctor thing...and being proactive about my health is a new thing I started when I got my WLS.  I figured if I was going to eat healthy and exercise...it was time to take care of my health (medically speaking).  My daughter was nagging at me too (she does that a lot!!!)

We used to have a copay but the powers that be with the village management  implemented this system. Once I meet decutable I do not have to do anymore paperwork. I am not too far away from that. I heard rumor that they are tossing around the idea of a 10,000 deductable and then it comes out of pocket for the next 20,000 and then it is 60/40 after that. Anything to screw the employee. Retirees and anyone not covered by collective bargaining would have to pay that. But this is just rumor.

Hello everyone

Well I am going to relax in the morning.  Watch some TV and eat my breakfast.  Then Amanda and I are going to the gym.  I am really liking the elliptical.  It really gets my juices flowing.  My legs get a really good workout, without the impact of running.  So I will be on the elliptical today...again.  When I do my normal workout I sweat buckets...so when I do a workout and I don't sweat...I feel like I didn't work to my full potential.  I know it's all psychological....but I am psycho....hahaha!!!!  My legs are feeling much better.  Then next week I will slowly reintroduce running...but I don't know about running outside!!!  Then after the gym we are going to run some errands and pick up some lunch.

Then I will relax the rest of the day....Ahhhh!!!!

Dawn...I am so glad you are taking the first steps to finding a new job.  Be persistent.  It took me 9 months to find my job.  But that was because I was only looking in the Champaign area and only in Accounting...if you are willing to broaden your search you will have more opportunities.

Christine- I'm glad all of your tests are coming back normal.  I actually read the whole rice thing was myth too.

Steven- enjoy your vacation.

Well back to Three's Company and my breakfast...have a good day everyone...bye.

Good Morning,

My plans for today are to put away the stuff I bought at Sams last night, and try to find space for all of Huberts stuff that has been cluttering up my dining room. His solution, move everything into the bedroom I just got cleanned! NOT in this lifetime!!

I am making some kind of chicken for dinner tonight. I am not sure what yet.

We had a nice evening last night with Monica and Scott. Morgan too.

I want, no need to get started today.

Have a great Saturday,
Hugs,
LISA
