Tuesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I'm a little sore from my outside run. I am used to running on a nicely padded treadmill. One thing I noticed right away running outside is how hard the ground feels. I can feel the impact of the ground through out my body. I felt it yesterday but today I'm sore (DOMS). The soreness is all my lower legs and ankles...weird place to be sore??? It will take some time to get used to running outside. So today rather than do more running and cause more impact soreness...I'm going on the elliptical. Those things are a good workout.
It snowed here but not much...maybe 1-2 inches. I wi**** was Spring already!!! Also now that I know that Amanda pretty much will be leaving in September I have been going over plans in my head for a going away party...hahaha...I love parties. I decide it will be a Bon Voyage party!!!! I like planning ahead.
No plans this week except work and working out. So how;s your day looking?

Crystal, a going away party for Amanda sounds nice. Make your plans. I tend to plan ahead also.
We only got abit over 1 inch of snow yesterday. Thats the kind I like, easy to keep up with. hubert broomed the sidewalk this morning, he didn;t need the shovel or snow blower.
My day is somelike like yours. Get to work, then exercise afterward. No special dinner for Valentines Day. Leftover pork roast and spagetti.
The only plan we have for this week is to go to Morgans Choral Concert on Friday night. Nice, quiet week.

Hello Crystal and Lisa and IL!
We got about an inch, too, so decided I'll let Mother Nature take care of it when she sends the rain and warm up later in the week! The backroads I take to work were a little slick, just because no one had traveled on them yet!
No big plans for me. I get my hair cut after work, then home. Crystal, I DID actually go work out yesterday...the first time this year, I hate to say, but at least I started. The thing is, I really don't mind once I get there....its' just convincing myself to go. My goal is twice a week for a few weeks, to get started, then hopefully will go up to 3 times. We'll see how that goes!
Don't even know what I'm having for supper tonight! I'll see what happens after my hair appt. Last night I had popcorn!

Happy Valentines Day Everyone! It is a grey day but that is ok. We had about an inch of snow and more was falling this morning but I dont think it stuck. Work is kind of slow today. I would love to go home but so far, they are not sending anyone.
Crystal, I am so proud of you for running. I do have a couple of questions that may make a difference. Are you using shoes that are actually designed for running? There is a huge difference in the types of shoes out there. Also how many miles do they have on them? Shoes do have a limited life of mileage.

The Auto Show was wonderful but tiring. It is a good thing we are only there for 6 hours at a shot. I almost got in 10,000 steps with my Fitbit. I have a lot of observations like people that really were interested in the vehicle and our conncection to Subaru and others (mostly older people - older then me) that thought the car was a "joke" (I could see it in their faces and their oveheard comments). I wanted to go up to them and "wipe" the smile off of their faces. I kept saying to myself - you still have a career with IPD - STOP!.

Sorry to not respond last night as I was super tired. I heard the notification on my phone email but was too tired to respond.
You could see from the looks in their eyes that they thought the car was a joke and the smirks on their faces like the car is for clowns. Then there were people that would ask if it was a real police car? Yes, it is a real police car, we can pull you over with it but it it is only used for special events, racing and positive police contacts with the citizens. The kids love it and they all wanted their picture taken next to it! They thought it was cool. I think it is the colors that they have on it.
