Wednesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well Chrisitne was right about the personal trainer. I haven't worked out that hard in a long time. I am a little sore today but not too much. I did notice a difference in the way he had me workout compared to the way I workout. I stay on one machine much longer...he had me jumping around. Which I have to admit I did get a better work out than sitting on the one machine for a long time. Towards the end I had to call it quits because I got really dizzy...stupid me I forgot to eat my snack. He asked when was last time I ate and I knew right away that was it...I have to remember to get a snack in today. I workout 5-6 hours after I eat lunch and that's too long to go without eating to be working out hard.
Today I am working and working out...not mch else this whole week!!!
So what is everyone else up to today???
I better get going have a good day...see ya later...bye.
Have a hair appt right after work and then home for left overs.
I found a free app for my Droid called My Fitness Pal. It tracks your food and exercise. You can also find it on line and enter the info that way also. It has a list of foods in the system and also a bar code reader with it. It is really neat. It really opened my eyes as to the amount of junk I would "snatch" to eat in the course of a day. I hardly dump on sugar and fats so it is easy empty calories. One does not realize how much they put in their mouth.

I love Wednesdays almost as much as Fridays. The week is halfway over. As Lisa commented yesterday, I am starting to feel better -- still pooped but better. Work has slowed down so I can now think.
Beemer goes in today for another lion cut. He is starting to shed all over the place again. Fluffer may be next.

Crystal, I am glad you enjoyed your session with your trainer. They can kick butt. Yes, you do need to remember to snack as that is a long time to go without food and then try to work out.
Christine, enjoy your hair cut. It is always nice to get it chopped off -- it seems easier to handle. Have fun at the auto show. That would be an experience!
Lisa, I hope you aren't stuck with being a receptionist again today. You should be escaping to LaSalle.
Everyone have a great day!

Quick flyby for me as I have been sick since Sunday and back to work to piles of stuff to do.
Just wanted to let you all know the the 2nd opinion we got in Madison (my WLS surgeon who also does General Surgery) for David said that he would NEVER suggest the excision surgery after only one episode of abscess.
He knows that Pilonidal Disease can be a crap shoot but he suggests a "wait and see" attitude. This is David's first episode in 18 years. He might have another in a month or so, he might have it in a year, or he might never have another problem. Of course, if he is one of those that has multiple episodes in a year, he would THEN recommend the surgery to remove the whole thing. Sounds more like a plan to me. If nothing else, it will delay the inevitable.
Besides that, I have bronchitis, a UTI and a stomach bug.......all are getting better and I have meds now!
Yes, Crystal, how are your balls?
On another note I am sorry you aren't feeling well. Have you been on antibiotics?? Sometimes when I'm on antibiotics I can end up with UTIs or yeast infections...YEAH!!! Feel better!!!
Remember Crystal, you got a trainer to kick butt.
Christine, I hope your hair appointment is relaxing for you.
Nancy, Yep, the fur babies need thier beauty treatment too. BTW, I worked in LaSalle today, back to Ottawa tomorrow, then 3 days off.
Dawn, I hope you start feeling better. That stuff can knock you.
A really slow day today. We only did 6 clients between the 3 of us.
We are heading out for Mexican in a few minutes. Then home to crash.
Have a great evening.
Hugs,
LISA
