Good Morning Steven and all of OH.
Steven, i was wondering where you have been the last few days.
How is everyone feeling? Dawn, your David? Christine, what about Dave? Nancy, your voice? Is everyone else ok?
No plans for this weekend. I am going to finish a few things and kick back. At least, I hope to.
we got about 1 inch of white stuff last night. The heavy wet stuff. I was running around yesterday in a pair of jeans and a sweat shirt with no jacket. I am happy I wore one last night when we went to dinner.

Hello everyone
I am relaxing watching Law & Order. What a nice weekend I have planned....nothing but relaxing. I love Saturday mornings...the whole weekend is ahead of you!!!!
I now have 129 books on my Kindle...hahaha...I just keep adding more and more. I will eventually have to STOP!!! That will be a sad, sad day. I will soon surpass the amount of actual books I own for virtual books. I did buy one this week...I bought the book that is out as a movie I think it's called "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" it sounds really good. But I would rather read the book than watch the movie. It was $7...so I got it.
I am looking for my grill now...I don't know if I will get it now or wait till spring. It's tempting to get it now.

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!
I have been very bust\y so far today. I got up and put the Balsamic Beef roast on first thing. then, Liv and I went to Juda to pick up the quarter of beef that was ready, then into Monroe for lunch and a few shopping stops. then, down to Freeport for a car wash and to see the new "Coca Cola Freestyle" machine at the KFC. She ahs been hearing about it and had to check it out. It has up to 100 options for a drink. It is like a fountain machine but has LOTS of choices and you can mix and match. I had the Dasani Raspberry water with Minute Maid Light Cherry lemonade. Very yummy and fun!
We then came home and I put all the beef away then put Liv's cheerleading static sticker onto the car. Now, I am checking the computer and getting a reipe for Red Lobster's Garlic-Cheddar biscuits to have with the roast. Later, maybe a movie.
David is doing much better and as of last night, I am not "packing" as there really is not a deep enough hole left to pack. I hope he still comes over for cleaning and changing of the dressing. He had a reaction to some tape I was using from work and has some very raw areas. Monday, we go beck to see the surgeon to discuss the next step.
Well...off to find that recipe!

Afternoon Everyone!
It has been a lazy day for me. I slept in today and it felt wonderful! I was so tired when I came home from work yesterday. I at least know why I am so tired -- it is due to the blood clots on the lungs and not getting enough oxygen. It does it every time. I went to see the ENT this week and he thinks I have a fungus infection deep in my throat. He gave me some meds so hopefully that will take care of it. He said everything was really red and irritated. I could have told him that! So I am trying to catch up on my rest when I can. Yesterday at work was a day full of idiot people. I am between the point of laughing and feeling pity for these people. I wonder how they function.
Many are so clueless. I could write a book, but people would not believe how dumb people can be.
Steven, shopping and laundry do not sound like fun but the date with the kindle sounds wonderfu! Enjoy!
Lisa, enjoy your weekend. It sounds like you have been out for dinner again. That is always nice. Hopefully you have a leisurely weekend scheduled.
Christine, sorry that Dave is not feeling up to par yet. Rick has come down with the flu and he is being a big baby. Hope Dave mends fast. Enjoy your time at the Creek today.
Crystal, Jasper should be in heaven having his mom home this weekend. You can cuddle up together and read and watch tv. This morning I was laying in bed watching TV and had 4 of the 6 cats with me. They were in heaven. They love getting the attention.
Dawn, I hope David is feeling a lot of relief from that cyst by now. Is he going to have the surgery to have it removed? I would assume he would have to, or is there a choice? Hope you have a great weekend.
Vicki, you should be enjoying shakes and things by now! Hope they are tasting good!

Good evening all,
Just a quick run in. This weekend has been mentally hard. My step-father called me last night to tell me that my mom was in the hospital again.
She had been having high blood pressure, shortness of breath and chest pains during the day. She decided to call 911 in the early afternoon and when the EMT's arrived they did not see anything out of the ordinary. However, with chest pains they took her into the hospital. The dr's kept her overnight for observations. In hindsight, that was wonderful. This morning when her blood was taken her cardiac enzymes were not in the normal range. The dr's did an angiogram and discovered an artery that was 90% blocked. The dr's put in a stint this morning. The dr's also told her that she did suffer a heart attack sometime during the evening. I am glad she was at the hospital.
Me, I feel so helpless. My parents are in Tucson and I am here! I wish I could be there to help. This possible job move for my husband was most likely put there by God. The progression for my husband is going so well. He has met and talked with would be co-workers and everything is going great. Soon he will be traveling to the head office in Mass to meet with the head of sales. So funny how life changes when you need it!
