Wednesday Roll Call
Morning/day!
You know it is time to get up and take pain meds if you are dreaming about it. Why does pain sometimes come back after you are starting to feel real good? I have a feeling it is because I vacuumed the kitchen floor yesterday and walked up and down the stairs several times to Dave's computer because it is hooked up to a printer and this new one is not.
I have two apts with docs today. Dr JK Jr. & my new primary. I wasn't supposed to go see the surgeon until next Wedn but they called and said he was not going to be in all next week. Why did they make the apt for me in the first place if he was not going to be there??

I believe Crystal is correct in that I overdid it yesterday. I am going to talk with the surg and ask him to write the return to work note for Monday instead of tomorrow.

Good morning.
I made an appointment to see one of my Dr.s in Feb. and they called and changed it to 1/31. They gt huffy if you call and change the appointments, once they are set, but they change them all the time.
When my girls were young, the Dentist kept doing it too. I would arrange to get the kids out early, so they could go to thier appointments, and usually an hour before, the office would call. I got so frustrated with that that I asked the office if I could bill them, for failure to give 24 hours notice. We did then change Dentist to someone more reliable.
Only 2 more days to go this week. Today and tomorrow.No plans yet for the weekend. We will be going out to dinner with friends tonight.

Hello everyone
I will be leaving for work right after this.
Christine it sounds like you over did it a bit. Me on the other hand my ankle feels better. I think I over did also. When I was exercising my ankle started to hurt and instead of stopping I kept going till the end....I won't do that any more.
I wish the weather was nice this weekend because I would take the opportunity of no car to walk every where....but with it being cold more than likely I will hole up and stay inside. I will probably get some projects done and watch some movies this weekend.
Yesterday I remade my meal the Jasper ruined the night before and it was good. I just relocated the crockpot in the bathrom and closed the door...hahaha I out smarted the cat!!!!
Well I etter get going...have good day...bye.

Happy that the ankle is feeling better. Consider putting your crockpot in the garage also. That is where we put ours when we do corned beef dinner because it has a tendancy to be a little stinky. The cold will not hurt the appliance.
You are correct about overdoing it yesterday. The clue should have been when I climbed into bed and it hurt to roll over. I have on my list about returning to work. I am more than likely going to pu**** out until Monday.

Okay, Dr JK Jr. spent a lot of time with us explaining everything and answering all of my questions and concerns. Yes, it was more than likely a blockage that brought me in but the subsequent testing while in ABMC did not show anything. He explained what more than likely happened and yes it can happen again. I go back in 3+ weeks to see him again and he will evaluate me at that time to see if any repair work on the inside is necessary. The blockage caused tugging and pulling and that is what has caused all of the pain. OF COURSE the pain was minimal when I was in there to see him. By the time I got to my new primary doc appt. and she saw me - she saw me grimace when laying back and wanted to know where the pain was at while I layed back. Very observant on her part. She also is a good listener.
I really like the new primary doc. She does not have as convenient of hours as my prior doc does but the benefits far outweigh the negatives of Dr. Kwack! She is also WLS friendly.
I worked out to go back to work on Monday.

Evening Everyone!
Another busy day is customer service land. Gotta love some of the dumb questions we get. They make us laugh. Today I got an injection in my hand for my arthritis. I will be good to go for awhile again. Tigger got neutered today and he is starting to act like normal again this evening. So he had the harder day today.
Christine, I am glad you put off wor****il Monday. You need those extra days to recoop and build strenght back up. Glad you got to see your doctors today. I love the games they play with us on appointments. Last week my doctor scheduled one for me and left a message on the answersing system to let them know if I could not make it. The appointment was scheduled for less than 24 hours of when they called and they have a 24 hour cancellation policy or you pay for the visit.l Good thing I could get there as I would have had to pay for a visit that was scheduled less than 24 hours in advance because I did not cancel it before it was made.
Lisa, I hope you enjoy your evening out tonight. I agree that the professionals need to be more courteous with their patients. My dentist still remembers me getting upset for having to wait over 1 1/2 hours for a scheduled appointment. They sure dont pay you to wait, but make you pay if you dont show.
