Morning ladies and gents!
I am home and it is great to have slept in my own bed.
It was a little uncomfortable but I got through it. Interesting I am in a little bit more belly pain 
than when I left the hospital last night. Took something for it and am feeling better.
What is happening in your world today? I have insurance paperwork to do after I make the phone calls to make doc apts.

Hello everyone
Yesterday was other than going out for my newspaper...I stayed in all day. It was relaxing. I wish the weekends didnt rush by us so quickly.
Today I have nothing going on but work...in fact that is the same for the whole week.
Next weekend Amanda and Charles will be borrowing my car from Friday till Sunday because Amanda is standing up in a wedding. It's at Morton's Arboretum...it will be beautiful. But that leaves me without a car for the weekend so I will have to do some planning to get through the weekend without a car.
Christine- I hope you feel better soon.
Well it's time for me to go now. Have good day everyone...see ya later.

Crystal, look at it this way, you can spend the whole weekend at ome next weekend :)
I stayed home all day yesterday, I did get dressed, but no makeup, and I didn't even do my hair. I love days like that. I did make Crystals greek style chicken. It was good.

I am working today (and so is David). We had a long weekend of not doing much since he was at our house recovering. He is only in pain during packing changes and even after 2 Vicodin he needs to bite a towel and scream. It is pretty traumatic for all involved. I am upset that it is left to me (who has no medical training) to accomplish this task. At least it is only once a day! A few years ago, a wound like this would be cause for hospitalization. Now, because of insurance companies, an un-trained mom gets this job. Ugh!
So, besides work and packing changes, I have not much else going on.

Good Evening Everyone
Just another typical Monday for me. No really drastic happenings in my world. Other than getting a vocal reprimand for missing so much work for being sick.
I love my company. They give you time off to use as vacation or sick leave but if you take it, you get verbal warnings if you take it too much. What do you do when you get sick? If I have no voice I cant talk on the phone. What do they want me to do instead? Go figure.
Tomorrow I get to go in for a scan to see if there are little blood clots floating around my lungs. Wee, what fun.
Christine, I am glad you are home. Going through insurance forms does not sound like a lot of fun.
Crystal, it sounds like you have a routine week coming up. It is nice of you to lend your car to Charles and Amanda next weekend. That give you a perfect excuse to stay home and play with Jasper.
Lisa, glad you got to hang out at home yesterday. Hope you have an easy week.
Dawn, I feel for you. It is amazing just how soon they release people from hospitals today or do not hospitilize them at all. I am sure you are doing an amazing job as nurse. It just was not what you trained to do and it is scary. You can add this to your resume skills.
