Good Afternoon Everyone!
It is a winter wonderland out there. We have probably 7 inches of that white fluffy stuff. ACK!!! Rick went to get his son for the weekend yesterday. He left at 10am and got there in the normal 2 hours. Coming home was another story, it took them 7 hours. He said they did not go over 5 mph for most of the trip. Ugh! But they are safe and sound. Today we are kicking back and Rick may take Gage out to the college to get him some practice of winter driving in the empty parking lots. Heh heh heh.
Christine, do you feel like a hostage yet? I cant believe that you have been there for 3 days and no information on what is wrong with you. GRRR. I hope they can at least give you some meds to make you feel better.
Crystal, good luck fighting the phone companies. I have been battling them for years. I pay for my satellite, land line, cell phone, internet and a separate charge for my I Pad. I keep contending that there should be one wireless charge for the internet but nooooo it is a seperate fee for each device.
Debbie, have fun at the gym. After snow like this weeks, I would be more than willing to move to Arizonia. I know it will be hard for you. Hang in there.
Vicki, You are doing great! Be careful not to weight yourself too often. The scale is your friend and you enemy during this journey. The weight comes off magically and stops suddenly for days and it can get frustrating. So, I only weighed myself once a week. It is hard to resist but it was better because I did not get discouraged during stalls.
Mary and Steffie, Hello! Great to see you posting. Come join us more often.
Everyone have a great day!

No actually I do not feel like a hostage. Yes, I want answers but I still am uncomfortable and think this is the right place for me. I think that the doctor that really knows my body "inside and out" (Kane) is the one that will have to put his thinking cap on.

OH is being touchy today as it will not let me update my own post - so here is my update"
Afternoon: going for an MRI, the gastro doc wants to rule out any type of spine issue because sometimes a spine issue can manifest itself in the belly causing pain when it really is a spine issue. I think it is a stretch. My regular gastro endo doc does think that there was a blockage and that is what sent me here and it fixed itself.
The surgeon is calling in a pain doc to help manage the belly pain and more than likely the headaches are caused by the Dilaudid. So, they will get the pain under control and send me home with a FU with Kane for hime to see me in the office and discuss the problem.
Stay tuned for the next episode.
