What is going on for all today? Dave will probably still have some snow to deal with before he comes up to see me. He got home and the neighbors were snoveling our driveway.

I had spotty sleep last night even after the Ambien. I still cannot shake this headache. The nurse thinks it is a rebound from the Dilaudid - the pain med. There is a note for the surgeon to order something else for me. As long as I do not lay down and put pressure on the back of my head then it mostly stays away. It is never quite gone. Jimmy Kane did not come in to see me yesterday so I hope I at least see one surgeon today as I have a list of ??? The first being on the list -why does my belly hurt so bad? On a good note I was advanced to full liquids.

Hello everyone

Yesterday I got very little snow. It was just a dusting (so maybe an 1/8 of an inch). I hear you guys up north got much more...how much did you end up getting???

I'm very mad because AT&T is raising their data rates.....so I will be paying $35 for data!!! and that's not even unlimited data so every month about 10 days before my month is up I get a message telling to watch out I'm running out of data!!! I just think this is getting ridiculous...I will be paying $55 a month in just data and messaging (for just one person). So I am changing my celll phone plan after 10 years with AT&T. I want to go with some one with unlimited data (at a low price!!!).

Today...me and Amanda are going to see a play at Parkland college. Then we are going out for dinner. Before that I am doing my usual cleaning and laundry. I have to I am a neat freak and I love to have the vacuum lines in my carpet....hahahaha!!!!

Chrisitine- I really hope they find out whats going on...Feel better soon.  You must be gettong the healing vibes I'm sending!!!

Crystal- There really are no cellular companies that will offer unlimited data.  It really is a misnomer as you will be capped at 5GB with any company and then you are held back at a very slow speed. Don't forget that you will be charged a fee if you are on a contract and switch carriers.  I work for a cell phone carrier (not in sales) if you want to send me a message, I can send you a link to our site where you can compare.  Thank goodness carriers have to let you port your number to new providers.  Years ago, that is how people were held hostage to a company.

I wouldn't mind the slow speed after 5GB as long as I can go over 5GB and not get charged extra. 

My contract is up in July so I can change carriers then.  But as I have been ranting about on Facebook AT&T is planning a rate increase next month.  I have been reading my contract and I have found a clause in my contract that says I can choose to leave if I want to...here is the clause

WE'LL DISCLOSE THE CHANGE AT LEAST ONE BILLING CYCLE IN ADVANCE (EITHER THROUGH A NOTICE WITH YOUR BILL, A TEXT MESSAGE TO YOUR DEVICE, OR OTHERWISE), AND YOU MAY TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT WITHOUT PAYING AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE OR RETURNING OR PAYING FOR ANY PROMOTIONAL ITEMS, PROVIDED YOUR NOTICE OF TERMINATION IS DELIVERED TO US WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE FIRST BILL REFLECTING THE CHANGE.

So with this information in hand I can leave my contract early if I want.  I just have to make up my mind to.  I don't plan on taking my phone# with me...I moved in August in I need to change my # to match the area code.  I might go with Sprint- because they have unlimited dataand messaging for $69.  They also have the iPhone and my company offers a 24% discount.

Either way I will not stay with AT&T any longer...I am sick of their greediness and they ranked last in customer service....instead of trying to work on that...they hike up my rates!!!!  I have been a  loyal cell phone customer for 10 years too!!! 

Crystal, how much data do you get a month? I get 2G for $30 with Verizon and never even hardly touch it. I do no****ch any videos nor listen to music so mine is strictly coming here to OH, FB, playing with useful apps, emails and surfing the internet when not near a 'puter. I pay per text because I do not use them much. I was told that unless I send more than 100 text in a month it was not worth it for me to pay the additinal $10 a month.

I get 2GB for $30...AT&T is raising it to $35.  last month I used 1.8GB and that was only because after I got my warning text I stopped using my data.  I feel like I only get to use my phone's data 2/3 of the time.  I use my phone for everything...including listening to the radio...I miss my chicago radio stations.  I am 12d day in my billing cycle and I have messaged 61 times so it is worth it for me to have the additional fee

Crystal, I can appreciate loving certain stations and then one being in a different area and the new stations just are not the same. There is a little christian station we love to listen to in WI and miss it when we get past the IL border and are on our way home. We then listen to it on line at home.

The price hike is frustrating as is the poor customer service. For example we are so happy that we did not go with ATT for our cable and we stayed with Comcast. Comcast is not W/O their issues also but after we researched ATT we were glad we did not switch. We like our coverage with Verizon. They were one of Dave's customers when he still was working in the cell industry. We have found that for where we travel they have the best coverage for most of the services we use.

Today is a dig out day!that is after I go to the gym. I have not been doing my work out for about 2 weeks and I can tell. Strangely I am more hungry when I do not work out. So off to the gym I go.
Christine - you are in my prayers. I hope you get your answers soon. I can not imagine what it must be like to have a headache that never goes away. Get better soon.
Crystal- too funny about the vacume lines. I will try and about 10 minutes later the dogs have refluffed the rug! Crazy dogs. Of course I would never get rid of them. The dogs are my security when my hubby is gone.
I know I have mentioned this before, but the update is, except for the official offer of the relocation package, it looks like a go for Arizona. Thank goodness he is staying with the same company so salary and seniority will remain. Just the housing market and getting this house sold will be a challenge. Oh well, all of this is out of my hands. What happens happens and I will be ok no matter what!
