Friday Roll Call
Good Morning.
Well, as usual, I am off work today, so what time do I wake up? Before 5! Maybe I can get my house picked up and some other stuff done, before the snow flys this morning.
I am going to make Crystals Greek Chicken on Sunday. It sounds great.plus, Hubert asked me when I entended to use the drumsticks in the freezer. I told him Sunday, since i donot have time during the week.
I hope Christine is better today.
Stay aware today. With this weather system coming in, it will be nasty later.

Yeah it's Friday!!!!
Nothing going on today but work and groceries. I might go to Best Buy to pick up a DVD that's on sale. I haven't decided whether I'm going to buy it.....hmmm.
Another good thing about moving down here....not as much snow. I hear you guys up north are getting more snow. We might about inch. So far it's snowed twice here. Once was just a dusting and the other time about two inches.

I am working today after an eventful night.
David came to me yesterday in terrible pain from what he thought might be a boil next to his tailbone. He was in serious pain, so I called the doctor. The regular doctor said that it sounded like something a surgeon needed to address. We went to the surgeon yesterday evening and it was not a simple boil. He has some kind of internal cyst that developed an abcess. The abcess needed to be drained right away and eventually the cyst will need to be removed.
He drained the abcess and it does not get stiched back up----it gets packed and a "loving family member" needs to change the packing once a day for the next 10 days. When they showed me what needed to be done, I got naseous. BUT, this is what moms do, I guess. I took him back to my house (cranky all the way) and fed him and gave him pain meds. He was still sleeping this morning. It remains to be seen if he will stay with us for a day or two or the whole time.
The recovery time from the removal surgery will be up to 4 weeks! Eeeek! Oh well, we will handle it when it is time to handle it.
I am stopping at the store before heading home to get a few things in case we do not feel like going out until it warms up on Sunday.

Wow, I was working along and just looked out my window @ 11:40 am....It's snowing pretty good right now! UGH.
Dawn, hope David gets along ok. Sounds VERY painful.
Not much going on here. I, too, think I'll try to pick up what I need for the weekend and hybernate! Chloe isn't coming this weekend because of the sketchy weather forecast. I think I'll tackle cleaning out my upright freezer that I have to manually defrost. Hate it, but have to do it!
For Crystal, I have a library book on my Nook I would like to finish reading, and being in hybernation mode should make it easy.
Thinking of Christine and hoping they fix whatever is wrong, and quickly, so she can be on the road to recovery.

Here but not totally with it. Did too much yesterday & this morning walking and my belly is hurting. I go down for my EGD @ 130 and test is @ 215
See Jimmy Kane later on today hope to find out why I am hurting so bad. Rantis is suggesting adhesions causing all the pain. I hope they can fix it soon.
update - nothing showed with the EGD no clear reason for the pain.

Good Evening Everyone!
Welcome to the blizzard! It has been snowing hard here all day. Plus it is coooolllllld out there. Brrr. I have spent a totally nonproductive day trying to chase my tail. My doctor called this morning and one of my test from yesterday indicate that I may have more blood clots. They sent me to the hospital for more tests today but when I got there I found out the tests have to be scheduled. They are now scheduled for Tuesday. Sigh. I really wanted to go out in this mess today.
Steven, I DID spend the morning in bed.
It was wonderful. Hopefully you can do that this weekend.
Lisa, please be careful driving to your weekend event. Stay safe.
Crystal, we will be very glad to send plenty of snow your way. Just ask.
