Thursday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am glad that it's Friday Eve. I am looking forward to my weekend.
Beleive it or not it's taking all week for my muscles to mend. I really worked those long unused muscles.
Jasper of course has another bad habit. I am not letting him get away with it either. I have to sit with the water bottle. He started a week ago and it got out of hand. He started to bite me. Not hard but hard enough. When he's sitting on my lap and I'm petting him he starts to bite at my hand as I'm petting him. Thinking he does want me to pet him...but no he still wants me to pet him. He thinks it's a game. But his bites are starting to hurt. So now when when he starts to bite I show him the water bottle and that usually startles him enough to make him stop. Jasper, Jasper, Jasper....what a bad boy you are .....hahahaha.
So what's on the agenda for you today.

It is another ugly morning, and I also have to drive to work. I will be leaving shortly.
This week isn't to bad for work. It has slowed down some. Just some new idiots that think they know more then us about our program. Oh well, I guess that is what makes the world go round.
We will be going to Spriegfield for a his and her baby shower on Sat. Other then that, no plans.

Is Jasper declawed? Our cat, Toby, bites sometimes but w figure that is because he is declawed in the front. I do not allow him to bite me at all. One nip and I give him a pat on the nose and say, "NO BITE" and then get away from him or remove him from my vicinity. Todd and David will "play" with him and let him bite at them but NOT MOM!
The Greek chicken was very good. The lemon was subtle. I only used a tablespoon or so. I doubled the meat and the sauce but only 1.5 time the potatoes. There still was not enough juice! Next time, I will use way less potatoes. Although I am thinking that those juice-soaked potatoes will be AWESOME crisped up in a frying pan.
Not much is happening here. Todd is taking the Scouts camping this weekend and I just heard that more snow is on the way. Hope they have fun! There is NO way I would do it.

I decided not to declaw right now because I am not having any issues with Jasper scratching. I don't want to declaw him if I don't have to. It's very painful for them. But if he stars clawing at my furniture he will be at the vets office before you can say declaw!!!!
I don't want him biting me either. I started out with the tap on the nose but all that did was rile him up even more. He would grab my hand and bite me more!!! The only thing that works is the spray bottle...he hates it. A lot of times all I have to do is show it to him and he runs....I don't even spray him...hahaha!!!!

Back in the room from test 1 & 2. Massive headache from laying down all yesterday and I think from the stress. Am sitting on edge of bed right now. Could feel the barium go in and stop @ the blockage.

go for an endoscope tomorrow afternoon also got to go on a clear liquid diet, the broth was delish! The gastro/endo doc thinks it might be adhesions causing the problem. The belly is sore on the left middle area, different from when I came in. Dr Rantis caught up with me in xray holding, saw the distention of the belly and hopes it just trapped gas but he strongly suggested it might be adhesions. See Dr Jimmy Kane tomorrow to get his view on the whole mess. TEEHEE he is the one that caused the whole mess with the adhesions back in '91 & '93.
Going for a walk. They finally gave me the okay to walk the halls. Can't get rid of the headache yet.

Good evening all,
A quick hello then i am off to find something warm to change into. I can not believe how cold I am. This is so strange! I would get "chilled" last year but I am frozen to the bone lately.
My son's high school in anticipation of the weather has already announced they will be closing early. How funny. The storm could still change.
Last night was my daughter's freshman night. She had a blast but the best thing for me was when two different mom say me they did not recognize me! I don't think I look that different but "yeah me" when they realized who I was. I enjoyed that.
Well I am off to take a very hot shower. Stay warm.
