Scary Friday the 13th Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I'm happy to report my commute home was about 13-15 minutes...it was nothing. Of course I'm not too impressed with the snow removal of the management here but I'm not going to worry about it too much. I litterally have to take 4 steps from my front door to the garage. But if it really snows they will need to plow so we can get our cars out of the drive way. Shovel it by hand would be a chore...it's a long driveway.
Today I have to go do groceries and run to couple of other places. I feel like I want to go and do all of my running around today so if I want to I can stay in tomorrow. I don't really want to go out into the cold...brrrr!!!! I want to do what I can today and shut myself up in the house for the weekend if I want to.
I have this tradition of coming home and watching the moving Friday the 13th on Friday the 13...hahaha!!!! So that will be my evening...
So what are you guys doing this Friday the 13th....

I "self propelled" myself safely to work this morning but forgot to put my spikies on my boots and it was a little slick underfoot even on the plowed street.
Off to Crystal Lake for me this morning to PU a squad and bring it back. Love driving them but they are noisy rattle traps with all of the equipment in them.
We will probably walk (2/3 of a mile) to our fav Italian bistro in town for din din tonight.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
It took me over twice as long to get home last night, but I did it safe and sound. That is the important part. This morning, things are fine. It IS winter out there.
I am going to the store at lunch to pick up some chicory and coffee as I have almost run out of the stash I brought back from New Orleans. I think I should just go there to get it but have a hard time convincing Todd. I LOVE New Orleans!
We are supposed to go to Monroe with the neighbors for dinner and to see a band tonight. Todd has to work in the morning so I am not sure if he still wants to go. Tomorrow we are getting together with his brother's family for pizza and a gift exchange for the kids.
That's about as exciting as it gets for me.

Good Afternoon,
No real problem coming home last night. It was a bit slushy on the highway, but it has been worst.
This morning I cleaned house, then tonight we are meeting for a cruise meeting and dinner. Nothing tomorrow, but Sunday we are coming to the burbs for a train show. Monica and Scott are coming with us. Then, sorry to say, but I am off on Monday, so that gives me a 4 day weekend again. The last one except for Presidents Day in Feb.
