Thursday Roll Call
Well I guess there will be snow today...at least it won't be much for me down here. I also don't mind it much since my commute isn't that long. Before my commute was about 20 miles (which was about 40 minutes) but if there were times it took me 2-3 hours to get home when it snowed!!! No wonder I hated the snow. Now I have a 5 mile commute!!! Another good thing is I have a garage so no more early morning scraping and snow removal....yeah!!!! I just get in and go now!!!
Jasper is funny. I closed the door to go to the bathroom and he didn't like this and he was jumping up and hitting the doorknob. He was trying to get in....hahahaha!!!! He makes me laugh.
I still have my pink eye. It keeps playing this game of acting like it's getting better then it flares back up again. I was talking to this lady at work and she said her daughter has had her pink eye for over a month now...mine has will be three weeks now.
Christine...thanks for all of the tips on grills
I better get going. Have a great day...see ya later....bye.
No snow yet, but my sister in Havanna said it is snowing hard down there. She is located about 60 miles south and a bit west of Peoria.
Just make sure you have those scapers and snow brushes handy in your car today and tomorrow.
I am heading for Ottawa in a few. I hope we don't have any problems getting home later.
Yes Crystal, there are advantages not living near a city.
Nancy, I hope you get feeling better. This has been going on long enough for you.
Have a good day,
Hugs,
LISA
You are welcome. Loved being able to give ya the tips. Sorry for the length of the explaination - that is just me as I am a detail person.
It has been a long day fixing traffic stop errors for the whole year of 2011. We did not know about uploading them from another source to the state. At least now we have complete data on line.
I never have had pink eye and am sure happy that I have not either. Dave had it once but I do not remember him having it as long as you.
My male Siamese learned where the dry food was stored really fast way back when we moved into our current house. The prior owners had child proof latches on the under sink cabinet. That darn kitty learned how to pop open the door (cheesy cabinets) and pull down the latch and get at his food! Your Jasper is a "person" cat and will always want to be with you or other people. That is a good thing but at times . . .
Time to do a few things around here @ home.

Brrrr! It is COLD outside! Lots of snow and wind here. I sure dont want to go out tomorrow. After all the snow stops and the winds finish blowing it everywhere it sure will be a mess outside. I am so tempted to call in sick tomorrow. I am so tired and still feel bad. This stuff does not want to go away.
Crystal, I am so sorry that your pink eye is still with you. I cant even begin to imagine having it for so long. Ugh! Jasper sounds like a normal cat. If I shut my bathroom door, I have a herd of cats on the other side crying and beating on the door with their paws. (They are insulted that I have the nerve to go to the bathrfoom without them) They are experts at opening cabinets and getting into things where they should not be. Just like little kids. As they say, curiousity killed the cat.
Lisa, hope you got home from Ottawa ok today. That was probably a long drive! Be careful tomorrow.
Vickie, it is exciting that you are so close to your surgery! Nerves will attack the closer you get. Just remember why you are doing this. I would say that 99% of us who have had the surgery would do it again in a heartbeat. It was the best decision I ever made.
Christine, I bet you dont want to see a traffic citation again. At least that is all behind you now. It is always a relief to get huge jobs finished.
Everyone have a great evening.
