Saturday Roll Call

Hello everyone

So glad it's Saturday.  I slept in...well to me it was sleeping in. 

Today I will be cleaning and doing laundry.  I have to get the bedding and other stuff done....because of the pink eye.  Which by the way that's looking better.  I mean it still looks pink but at least I no longer look like I've been crying for an hour.  Now it just looks like my eye have been strained.  Thank God.  This time I'm not stopping the medicine till a week after the symptoms are gone.  Amanda (who had considerable issues with eye infections when she wore contacts) says she thinks I stopped the medicine too soon.  so I'm taking her advice since she seems to know her stuff....hahaha.

Then I have to mess with my vacuum.  The brush thing won't rotate....so I'm putting on my "Mr Fix It" hat on.  Normally I would assume it's the belt but I have Dyson and there is no belt driving the brush thing....So hopefully it will work after I take off the brush and mess with it a little.  I ALWAYS break my vacuums...I have become quite a vacuum doctor....hahaha.

I will also do my normal weekend cleaning and errands.  Then I will check out the weather...I think some outdoor adventure might be on the agenda today!!!!  Then I will tend to some outdoor chores.   

Then I will relax....Ahhhh.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am home all alone and not sure WHAT to do with myself.  I have some cleaning to be done also.

Our Christmas party is tonight and I will need to get ready for that too.  I bought a new shirt and sweater to wear.  I think I will wear pants this year.

The boys are going to the "Feed" for lunch.

Not much else happening in Rock City.......

Good morning all,
Happy Saturday!  Hubby and I are home alone for a few hours today and what are we doing?  We are watching a movie and just relaxing!!  The house is peaceful and calm.  It is strange how quiet it gets when the kids are gone.
Today, we are stating to sort out some of the extra clutter and crap that seems to grow through out the years in a house.  Regardless if my hubby gets the transfer or not, this has to be done.  I am getting tired of feeling like the house is shrinking.
Other than that, I made myself my protein juice.  I used fresh grapefruit, orange and some cranberries.  Yummy!  I added my protein powder to it, a few ice cubes mixed it all up in my Magic bullet and it is ready to go.  I am sure loving my juicer.  It is the Black and Decker model found at Walmart. It is not bad for under 35$.

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

I am feeling better but still am hoarse and if I do much talking, I still completely lose my voice.    No big plans for the weekend.  I do intend to go back to work Monday.  Hope I can talk.  This is getting old fast!

Crystal, I hope the pink eye goes bye bye for good this time.  If you ever need a great eye doctor, go to Dr. Kresca on Green street.  I went to the dad and his children took over the practice.  They are excellent and since you only have one pair of eyes, you want them to last.  
Your vacuum may have a hairball.  I know with cats, the beater bar can get clogged with fur.  And on several occasions I have had an actual hair ball blocking the entrance to the canister from the hose.  Easy to remove once you discover the problem.  

Dawn, I am sure you will find something to do.  If only to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.  I hope you have fun at the christmas party.  At least it is an evening out.  

Debbie, decluttering is a never ending saga.  I hate doing it so that is why it is always a humongous job for me.  It is amazing the crud we collect.  Kicking back and watching a movie sounds delightful.  Your juicer sounds neat.  I may have to look at one.  Have you put protein powder in with it?  I use my Vizo blender to make fruit smoothies and I love it.
