Good Morning Everyone!

Where is everybody?  I came on here and am surprised that no one has started roll call yet!  So, I will do so.  I am home again today.  I tried to work yesterday and was pooped out by noon and could not talk after an hour there.  Wanted to come home and they would not let me!    Soooo I called in sick again today.  I am going back to the doctors.  I know I will not get over having no voice if I talk on the phone all day.  Plus I am very short of breath.  Hmmmmm.  

Crystal, I hope you are feeling better this morning.  Get rid of that Pinkeye!  Go infect someone you dont like -- ha ha.  

Lisa, I hope your first day back in the new year went better than mine.  I had all sorts of computer issues and thought of you.  Hopefully the worst that happened to you was oversleeping.

Dawn, it sounds like you need to be banned from the kitchen!  Hope the fingers are ok.  Or at least we need to keep you away from knives and burners.  I am glad that Liv had a good trip.  She sounds exhausted.  They must not have gotten much sleep.  Glad you had a quiet and stress free first day back.  Maybe you can luck out for the rest of the week.  

Debbie, we have all seen the scale go back up!  That darned traitor.  But it often does happen when you start exercising hard.  It will regulate itself again soon.  Hang in there!  

Jill, so sorry you are having troubles with that one incision.  The one I had trouble with is dimpled and a little dark.  Never did heal perfectly like the others.  Mine was the one where they go in with the instruments -- top left side of body.  It does heal.  Hang in there.  You will find that you can manage to get in your protein.  Between shakes, blended cottage cheese, yogurt, eggs, etc you get some powerful amounts of protein.  As for fluids, a water bottle is now my constant companion.  I continuously sip all day.  Your mom is definitely watching over you and seeing your success.  Know that she is proud of you.

Christine, I hope you are feeling better now.  Are you still lost in the North woods?

Good afternoon Nancy and the rest of Illinois!

I am at work and have been pretty busy this morning.  My SIL is still out sick.  Poor thing.  I'm sure she will be better in time to attend our Christmas Party this Saturday.

My fingers are healing and I got a replacement coffee carafe last night so I am good to go.  It is annoying, but that is better than painful!

Liv had a very good time and I got a lovely note from her friend's father complimenting Liv and thanking ME for sending her!  That sure did make me proud!

So sorry to hear that you are STILL not feeling well Nancy.  I hope the doc has some answers for you.

There does seem to be a lot of sickness going around.  I hope Christine is better too.  David is also sick today.

Dawn, maybe your sil will lose her voice as well and you will have the sounds of silence in your office.  Ahhhhh peace.    
What a nice thing for Liv's friend's father to do.  That had to make your day!  You have done so well with your kids.

I am waiting to hear back from some tests the doctor did.  Basically they said it could last up to 21 days.     I have orders to stay home until Monday so I am obeying.

Christine,  I am taking up space as well.  It is so wonderful to feel like the blob that is around others.  

I am around taking up space at work. Getting things done but in my own time frame.

Still am sleeping close to 12 hours a night, no appetite. It is an effort to even ge****er in me.

Have a hair cut after work and that is about all I will get done tonight I am sure.

Good evening OH friends and family,
Today was my first day back to work after almost 2 weeks off.  Guess who is EXHAUSTED!!!  Naturally, I was unable to fall asleep at a normal time.  12:30am I was still awake.  Alarm went off at 4:30am, I laid for a few minutes then got my back end up and took myself to the gym!
I did my  run and swam.  Great work out before work.  I felt great all day.  Now I am chilling watching Glee with my girl and falling asleep!
So my hubby comes home from work and springs some news on me!  He is applying for a transfer to Chandler, Az!  
For him this would be good, however, I am good here!!  Both of our parents live in Tucson and with them getting older and needing our help it would be good to be there for them.  My "wife" part knows he is unhappy with what he is currently doing and the switch would be good.  But the "me" LOVES my job!  I am not sure I would be able to find another one like this one!  I taught in Tucson for 10yrs, I know I will find a job but I am being selfish.  On the bright side, it will take time to sell the house so I would hang here and take care of things here.  Plus my son has 1 yr left of high school and I would hate to have him change or move till he graduates.  Good thing he is planning to be done in December!!
Oh well, I won't worry about anything until he gets the job.  Can't do anything about what will be!  The future is out of my hands.

Just sending a big HUG.  I would LOVE to move somewhere warm, but I understand the upheaval you feel.  YOu are right though......can't really worry until he actually GETS the job!
