Wednesday Roll Call
Good Morning all,
Wow it is 8am, and no one has posted yet! So what is everyone up to? Today I will be going to the gym, need to keep getting ready for my first 5k. Yesterday my friend and I did 2min walk paired with 4min run. That is Week 7 day 1 on a couch to 10k workout. Needless to say, my legs are sore. Why you ask? Because we were only on Week 3!!! She "accidently" started the wrong day!! OUCH! But I am so proud I made it. We ended up doing almost 5miles.
This afternoon, my family and I are going mini golfing. Love Groupon!!

Hello Friends!
I know that it has been quite some time since I have posted, but I do try and pop in and read at least a couple of times a week. It seems that I keep getting busier and busier.
Well, today is my 4 year anniversary since having my surgery and I took some time this morning to reflect on what has happened since then. There is not a day that goes by, where I am reminded in some way that having RNY was the best decision I have ever made.
So update:
I am proud to say that I am maintaining at 135-140 lbs, and I am healthier .
My granddaghter, is going to be 2 in March, and she is so much fun to be with.
Working on some home improviement projects.
Putting in extra hours at work, we announced in November the acquisition of the Office Product segment from Mead Westvaco (5-Starr, Trapper Keeper, Franklin Covey, and At-a-Glance Calendars). Hopefully I will get moved into an accounting position.
My daughter is going to school for nursing, my son is a junior in high school, and my husband still puts up with me (lol).
Well, I need to get going as I am working on year end close, but I am making my list of goals for the new year and I am going to stop lurking and post at least once a week .

Good morning Debbie and the rest of Illinois!
I wanted to do the "Couch to 5k" but I failed. Maybe I will try again. I REALLY need to get back to exercising. I THINK I may have found the cord for my bike! I just need Todd to bring it back upstairs.
I am just working today and taking Lisa's advice about smiling and humming. My Sister-in-Law is REALLY getting on my nerves with her "I own this place" attitude. I have been running this company and putting up with my bosses abuse for 11 years. This girl walks in last Feb., takes 14 days off in the first 5 weeks and numerous days since then and STILL thinks she is "the boss". Annoying, to say the least. Smile and hum, smile and hum............
Besides that, not much on my end. Liv went to the Statue of Liberty yesterday, but it was pouring rain so they did not stay long.
Gotta get back to it......

Well it is a quick post for me. I am off to my doctor's shortly to see what is officially wrong with me. I still cant talk. Rick is now coming down with it and he is going to the doctor today as well. It looks like we will be glaring at each other instead of talking!
I am off work to day as I cant talk. Pretty hard to have a phone job when you cant speak.
Debbie, it sounds like you are making HUGE progress toward your 5K goal! WOW!!! Keep up the great work!
