Good Morning.

I am sitting here trying to get a good headach started. Maybe, if I pop a couple of Tylenol, and go back to lay downfor a bit , I can ward it off.

New hairdo, new coloring, hope I will be able to maintain it. Picture on facebook.I love it. She cut layers in, and left it long.  If I want curls, she told me just to fluff it up, or for straight, use a big brush and dryer.

Nothing happening here today. i have a few start of week stuff to do. A corned  beef dinner will be done abit later.

Have a great day,

HUGS,
LISA

Hello everyone

Yesterday I did a lot of running around getting my errands done.  I got my hair cut too!!!  JcPenney had a great deal ($20).  But I didn't do a new cut or anything...I just got a trim.   I went to Michaels and Party City to get my gift bags/boxes (I don't wrap gifts for anyone but Amanda).  I am kind of known for my nice packaging.  I spend wayyyy too much on boxes, bags, tissue, bows, misc decorations.  I had to go through all of my gifts and write a list of what I needed.  I also went to Meijer and Walgreens.  I bought some gifts for my old friends at my old job d I need to send those out tomorrow.  My secret Santa starts tomorrow!!!  We had to buy 4 gifts totaling no more than $15.  Then we have to sneak them on each other's desk...hahaha...so much fun!!!!!

I saw Amanda yesterday and dropped off the tickets for her.  I also dropped off some grocery items for her...they don't have a car.  So every little bit help.  Then I came home cleaned and did laundry.

Today will be an easy going day.  I will run and get the newspaper.  I might make a nice dinner...hmmm.  Other than that...that is it.  I like to run around like to run around like a crazy person on Saturday so I can relax on Sunday....ahhhhh.

Lisa- I find that a hair straightener is faster than a blow dryer.

Well I will see you all later.  have a great Sunday.  Bye

Some people call them Flat irons.  You can get them for as cheap as $15 (but you get what you pay for) and they go up to well over $100..... I paid $60 for mine.

Heres one

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!

I am just catching up on my computer, taking my vitamins and looking for a recipe to use up a head of Napa Cabbage that I got in my last CSA box.  I will go down in a few minutes to start a pot roast for dinner.

Olivia and her friend put up our fake tree last night, so it will need lights and decorations today.  We also have to get some baking done.

We both need haircuts, but I can't seem to fit it in.  Maybe I will check out Penny's.  It would be better if we had a regular stylist, I guess.

We went yesterday to buy the blue Sebring and when he ran the Carfax, he said, "you probably want to pass on this one.  It's been in an accident."  BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD.....kind of.  Turns out, they had another one of the exact same model (they buy them in lots) but is is a darker gray/blue/mist color.  I think I will get that one.  What do I care about the exterior color?  I will be INSIDE the car.  They are going to detail it and change the oil and "run it through the shop" and put on brand new tires.  If it passes my inspection, I will pick it up either Tuesday or Wednesday.  In the mean time, I am driving a Mercury Montego that is REALLY nice, but has 102,650 miles on it.

That is one thing about this dealer.....they take excellent care of their customers.  I have been driving one or another of their vehicles since a week ago Friday.  I'm thinking they are saving me a bundle over if I had to rent someting.

Sad to say that David apparently moved out Friday night.  He had not been home all week and showed up about 8:45 pm with two friends and took a bunch of his things.  Unfortunately, he was bound and determined to make it negative and before all was said and done, hurtful words were flying and he was out of control.  I am now beginning to worry about his mental helath.  Bi-polar disorder runs in Todd's family.  The sad thing is that since he is over 18, there is nothing we can do but hope & pray that he gets his life straight.  He did not take everything and threatened to come back Tuesday for the rest.  He is supposed to be house-sitting for his grandparents for the next two weeks, so I don't know how THAT will work out......
I just wish he could act like the adult he wants to be.  A child moving out on his own shoud be a happy transistion.

If anyone has any helpful suggestions, let me know.

Wishing everyone a splendid day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Dawn, regarding David, All you can do is step back and let him fly. Then, when he wants to come home, let him. As long as he is coming to work, you know he is ok. I know it is hard to do, but that is all you can do. Just ask him if he will let you know where he is living, so if there is an emergency,  you can get hold of him.
That way, you aren't asking for you, but in case of...........

 Afternoon Everyone!

It is a bright sunny day but not very warm.  Oh well, it is December.  The days are not starting to get longer so that is a positive thing!

I did my grocery shopping and running around yesterday so I can veg today.  I woke up early and have been playing on my computer trying to work some bugs out of it.  No special plans for today.

Stephen, I am glad you have a short work week coming up.  Enjoy!!

Lisa, I love your new hair style!  It looks so good on you!  They really did a nice job.  You will really enjoy it!

Crystal, enjoy your vegging day.  You always are rushing around.  Jasper can use the company.

Dawn,  I am sorry that the car did not work out.  It is great that you have such an honest dealer.  I would not be too picky about the color if everything else is a go.  A good car is hard to find.  Hope all goes well and this car passes all the tests!   I am so sorry about David.  You have to let him fly.  If he crashes, be there for him and let him know the nest is available.  As far as the bipolar issues, that could be a possibility.  I worked with someone who is bipolar so his behavior does make since and bipolar issues could be a possibility.  It is difficult when he is over 18.  That makes it so much harder.

Sam,  I hope the pain is not something important.  I have to agree that avoiding temptation is a good thing.

Everyone have a great day!
