Gooooood Morning llinois!

I am heading out shortly to go to Yorkville, to do a hair makeover. I am really excited about it. I do intend to keep the hair longish, but a new style will do wonders.

I need to stop at the super Walmart in Ottawa first. I need a brisket for Xmas eve, and the local one didn't have any. A week aga they had loads of them, but none yesterday.

Then this evening we will be going to dinner with the group we see all the time, but we are going to a steak house for our "Christmas" gettogether.A nice excuse for dressing up a bit.

Hello everyone

Well it's Saturday!!!! Yeah!!!

It was my favorite person's last day yesterday....I was sad to see her leave. We went to Cracker Barrel for lunch and I had pot roast. Well I could only eat the pot roast and brought the rest home for dinner. They have super yummy mac and cheese!!!!

After work I did groceries and picked up my prescriptions. Today I have a couple of errands and I am stopping by my daughter's work to drop of basketball tickets (I won Illini basketball tickets). I am not interested in going so I am giving them to my daughter and her hubby. I might get my hair cut....that's it. Besides the normal cleaning and laundry.

I bought a couple more books...whats new...hahaha. I am excited about it. I think I might have about 85 books on my Kindle now. I bought The Virgin Suicides...it's a movie with Kirsten Dunst...but I didn't realize the movie was based on a book. I also got Battle Royale (but I had to get an actual book for this...not on Kindle). I also got Lord of the Flies. I am just a book fiend!!!!

Lisa-Yes it would be nice to meet with you sometime.  Hopefully when the weather is nice

Sorry I have not been on been kinda working on my new me and dealing with so many different things. I get scoped every 3 weeks do to the closer on my anastomis. I always ended up with... I am down 105bls in 4 1/2 months I think by 8 months I should be at goal weight...The one food I really miss is Chicken my pouch don't like it the snow makes everything look so clean but my bones don't care for the could oh Lisa how do you do your Brisket do tell Please Hope everyone has a safe weekend and I will post more after my long week of doctors visits next week peace and joy to all San

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I am home from check class and am trying to unwind.  That is a MAJOR job as my air compressor in my car blew this morning and the belt with it.    I am now carless and will be $700 poorer come Wednesday.  Too bad it happened at Christmas and I have another $900 that needs to be spent on my car replacing my suspension system.   I just keep telling myself it beats car payments.  But not having control over when your car breaks down ....... AAAAGGGGHHHHH! 

Good thing Christmas is already bought. 

Lisa   You will have to take a picture of your new hair style!  It sounds great.  I would love to see what you do.  Enjoy your night out this evening.  It should be fun.

Crystal, I like Cracker Barrel.  The food is good.  You are always so busy running around,  Jasper must miss you being gone so much.  If you have never read Lord of the Flies, you will enjoy it.  Great book!

Sam, you have had more than your share of problems with this surgery!  I am so sorry that you have had such a rough go of it.  It makes me wonder why some of us have no problems while others seem to have everything happen.  It just does not seem fair.  You have had a great success with the weight you have lost!  That is amazing and is some comensation for the rough time you have had.

Just a quick run though!  I need to be more dilligent on here for accountability.  Today my family and I bought our tree.  It is currently sitting in the tree stand drinking water waiting for us to decorate tomorrow.  I just hope the dogs and cat stay away from it. 
Chrystal, I love books as well.  I am hopeless when I am in a used book store.  I just can not get into books on a portable device.  I love the smell and feel of a book.
Lisa - I can't wait to see the new you.  I love getting my hair done.  A few hours just for me.  Ahhh, what fun!
Nancy- sorry about your car.  I agree the costs do seem better than a car payment.  My van is a 2002 and every day, I just hope it keeps moving.  I do not need nor want a new car just yet.
San- congrats on your weight loss.  I am just over a yr out and still have 40ish pounds to go.  Best of luck to you.
