Hello everyone

Well after thinking about it I definitely only want a friendship with Dan.  I just don't feel that way about him.  I don't want to have to force the feelings.  So back to the drawing board.  How's that going to work it took all of my courage just to do this....

I have nothing going on all this week....that could change but for now it's nothing.  Friday I have a ton of grocery shopping and some errands to do.  I also want to get my hair cut and get my oil changed.

I wouldn't mind celebrating Hanukkah...I never have so it would be some thing to experience.

Well time to go now.  Have a good day.  Bye

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!

Steven, that sounds nice, to spend time with neighbors and friends.  We will invite our neighbors over on Christmas Eve for dinner and games, then Todd will be getting together with them Christmas night for the Bear/Packer game while I take Liv to the airport.

Crystal--hopefully, Dan will be happy to be friends.  You never know, some of the best relationships begin as friendships.  If not, as someone said, everyone needs more friends!

The kids and grand-kids had fun at the hotel on Saturday.  At the last minute, I found out that the Christmas/Chemistry show was canceled due to a family medical emergency.  That was a bummer because I was very interested to see what it was all about.  I hope we can get tickets next year.  It is free, but you have to send for advance tickets.  it is called "Once Upon a Midnight Cheery/In the Lab of Shakhashiri" for anyone who wants to "google" it.

I however, did not have such a great time as I had a face full of pain.  I was not sure if it is a sinus infection or a bad tooth (I have many) but the paid was awful.  It is better now, but if my teeth hit each other "just right" it is terrible.  I am now avoiding chewing hoping it will pass as it has in the past.

I took my last vacation day yesterday to attend a funeral then test drive vehicles.  I drove different vehicles for 4.5 hours and thought I had found one.  I took it home for an overnight test drive (2010 Chevy Impala--RED) and Todd would not even look at it.  He just says it is too big and won't get good enough gas mileage.  So, back to the drawing board.  I will now have to spend all of Saturday driving more cars, I guess.  I can't really take another day off.

Back to work today to try to rectify the mistakes made in my absence.  A day off is hardly worth it.

Everyone have a wonderful day!

GoodMorning Steven and All.

We celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah too. I amJewish, and my husband is Catholic. We have never had any problems because of it.

I am at work, but we are slow, so I get to play abit.

Last night, I made chocolate Chip cookies, worked on a  rug that I am making for a friends daughter, and watched Water for Elephants. It was a great movie and story. I am waiting for The Help. Hoping it will be next on Netflix.

This afternoon after work, I want to stop and see if I can get a pair  of brown jeans. That is, if it is not raining.

Need to get back to work.

Hugs,

LISA

Good evening all!
I am sitting here freezing at Hoffman Estates Ice Rink.  My daughter is attending a Chicago Wolves event for girls.  Happy to be able to do this for her, but for 2 hrs I will be cold!!  Oh well.  Actually, I am amazed at how fast I get cold these days.  I am thinking of getting fleeced lined jeans.  Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I would need lined jeans!!  Amazing what a weight loss can do.
Tomorrow a co-worker joins us on the losers bench.  At 8:30am she will be getting her gastric bypass.  It has been so interesting and inspirational watching her go through the process.  I am so proud of her!!  We had a goodbye party this afternoon.  I am looking forward to seeing her in January.  My luck she will be skinnier then me by Feb!!
Well all take care.  I am going to enjoy some netflix on my computer while I wait for my girl!

Yes, Debbie, the "freeze factor" is a by-product of the weight loss.  I have not tried the lined jeans, but I swear by Under Armour.  Under rmour is lightweight and very warm.  Sure beats the tights and two pairs of long johns that I used to wear before I found Under Arnour.  It is expensive, but almost indestructible and oh-so-worth-it if you work in a cold environment (my boss is a Scrooge) like I do.

I think Nancy like "Cuddleduds" also.
