Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning,
I have a few things to do this morning before we leave for Hoopston. The main thing is laundry. I have already baked 2 loads of cookies. I may try to make one more before we leave.
Nancy, we love the Beef Place. We have been going there for years, starting in about 1990. But this trip, we won't be.

Hello everyone
I have no plans today. I will just get my house cleaning and laundry done today so I can just worry about things tomorrow.
Yesterday I found out my last job laid off some people. Can you believe that...typical unfeeling company right before the holidays!!!! Like they can't wait till after Christmas. They are a multi-million dollar corporation they are not laying off people off because the business is going under they do this to keep the stock holders happy. Last year they made 750 million dollars and this year they were doing about the same....does that sound like they are broke and need to lay people off.
Well enough crabbing about my friends problems and my fears....hahaha. I hope everyone has a ice relaxing Saturday. Bye

Today aim being lazy for awhile. I do need to do some normal work, dishes etc, but for the most part just chilling.
My hubby and I have a company Christmas party this evening. Last year I did not go as I was fresh home from surgery. If I did go, my dress was a size 26. The dress I am wearing tonight is a14! Yeah me! Last year I would have worn flats. This year I am wearing 3 inch heals! What a change. I am looking forward to getting out and being an adult.
I should be cleaning and getting ready for Christmas. However since I can't really do anything till next weekend, I am taking it slow. I am so looking forward to break. This year I will be done on the 21st. I am off till the 4th.

Afternoon everyone!
It has been a laid back sort of day for me. I have been messing around on the internet. Not really over eager to do a lot. Rick has gout in his foot so we did not get Christmas decorations put up. He cant climb the stairs carrying stuff and will not let me. But I do have my packages wrapped, mailed and/or ready to go. I need to get my Christmas letter out. Tomorrow I will go shopping for food, one more box and some more bows.
Lisa, have a great trip. I am sorry you wont be visiting the Beef House. It is so good.
Crystal, I can't believe your old company did that! They are a bunch of scrooges. I agree that they could have waited until after Christmas. Have fun tomorrow and RELAX!
