Thursday Roll Call

Hello everyone

It's Friday Eve!!!!  Yeah!!!!

Today I leave work early for my doctor appointment and then Amanda's concert. 

AND.....I was right the guy I have been talking to online wants to meet me in person...OMG!!!!  I'm so nervous!!!  What happens if he thinks I'm fat and ugly (I'm seriously worried about this).  He wants to meet me for breakfast on Sunday and then go for a long walk.  We both like walking.  He wants to meet at a restaurant called Courier Cafe....it's very popular in Urbana.  The thing is Amanda's sister in law works there.  I will let him know that and if he has a problem with that then we go some where else.  Oh God I'm so nervous.  But I will make myself do this.  
Get ready to hear me obsess about this for the following days.  Oh and don't mention this on Facebook...only you guys know.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

Congrats Crystal on another new chapter in your life.  Even if you and he don't wind up together, it is still a new chapter......taking another step into your future!  GOOD LUCK!!!!!  I am proud of you!!!!!!

I am working today then thinking of going home to get the wreath and roping put on the front porch.  Problem is, it is dark by the time I get home and all motivation is gone.

The noise in my car's engine is CRAZY loud, but Todd says that I should just live with it.  The car is a 2002 and has alsmost 252,000 miles on it.  He says it is inevitable that it will make noise at some point.  I have been very spoiled with this car always running so well and not too many repairs to deal with.  I am not sure that he is making the correct decision........the "knocking" sure is LOUD!  I will put the mechanic's phone number into my phone and hope for the best, I guess.

Dawn, the only reason Todd is telling you to live with the noise is because he doesn't drive the car. When and if something happens, then he will be upset because you didn't tell him.

Crystal, YOU ARE NOT FAT! You may not be a size 2, but really, how many are? Have a good time Sunday morning, and treat it as it is. A new experience.

I am at work on an extended lunch hour. No one is in the office, so time to play a bit. BTW, the state had us stop 2 programs this morning, Need I say it instantly reduced the stress we had all built up.

Not sure what I am doing this enveing. Cookies and candy, clean a kitchen or wrap gifts. I have had a headach since early this morning.

3 day weekend starting in 2.5 hours.

Dawn, I have to agree with Lisa, if your Husband is telling you to ignore it, its because it isnt your problem.. My hubby tells me the samething with my computer, he is a Tech guy. So when I get annoyed with it I just take his laptop then mine gets fixed :) 

Lisa, I wish my hubby had a 3 day weekend, we only have the tree up and 2 stockings, there should be 7 more hanging up there. I knew this was going to be a hard time with my mom passing in April, but I never thought I would be this NON motivated to get anything  done. And with my surgery on the 19th, youd think Id be running around like a chicken with my head cut off at this point.. But all I keep thinking about is ME and my surgery.

Which brings me to a question, did any of you have issues with your pre-op liquid diet? Im having a hard time finishing my 12 oz of protein shake and if I force It I feel sick to my stomach and I have diareaha now from it.  Any ideas??

Wow! I hope you have a great time on Sunday. Just have fun. Remember...he probably feels nervous meeting YOU, too. He may feel that you will think he's too fat, too thin, too bald, too hairy, too...whatever!

And for what it's worth, you are NOT fat or ugly. You look amazing!
