Friday Roll Call
Good Morning,
I see we got our first snow of the season last night. It looks like a light covering, so no driving problems. Now that we had it, it can go away.
I have an ambitious plan for today. i need to clean house, go to the post office, get food,and bake cookies. I am not sure how much will get done, but that is the plan.
Tomorrow we are going to Hoopston, Il with friends, to go to a concert. We will be spending the night in Danville, then Hubert wants to go over to Indiana to see some Kroger Fuel centers. Our annual get away weeked, before Xmas.
The powers to be have dropped our 2 problem programs at work. That will make things considerable more manageable at work. Now, when someone comes in, we will be able to get to them a lot faster.Plus, we will be able to get home alot earlier!!!
I gotta turn into a Merry Maid, so be careful out there today.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!
I am at work, driving a Buick La Sabre courtesy of my car dealership/service center. The news on my car is NOT good. The lower rod and main bearings in my engine are out and he says I was lucky to get as far as I did on it as it "will not be running much longer". To replace the engine will be AT LEAST $ 2,900.00 so I am thinking I need to start looking at something else. Todd's car payments will be done by April or May, so I guess we will have to bite the bullet. At least I HOPE that's what we do. I personally can see no reason to try to resurrect this vehicle again. It has served me faithfully for 8.5 years and we have resurrected it twice. I think it is time to let it rest in peace. Besides the engine, the driver's window does not work, the left front blinker does not work, the air does not work and the driver's seat itself is falling apart.
So, we are taking the kids and grandkids to Madison tomorrow for an interesting (I hope) Christmas/Chemistry show then an overnight stay at a hotel with a very kid-friendly pool. They also have a 20 person hot tub for us adults! I will worry about the car later.......

Hello everyone
So I had a nice day. There was a baby shower at work.
My doctor appointment went well. He increased the milligrams of my daily migraine medicine and discontinued the Imitrex. I will be taking the Cambia... I love that stuff. When I take it my migraines are gone in 20 minutes!!! And more importantly I lost 8lbs!!! Yeah me!!!
Soooo....I am still doing nothing but worring about this date. I keep playing it in my head...it nevr goes right. We finally exchanged numbers and he texted me good morning and then texted me I hope you had a good day after work. So he seems like a nice guy. Today he is spending the day with his daughter. SO he's not a dead beat dad (like Amanda's was). But what if he doesn't like me....Oh gosh. I will need tranquilizers....hahaha. What if he tries to kiss me!!!! I don't believe in kissing on first dates!!!! OMG!!! I'm freaking out!!!!

Good Evening Everyone!
I am finally coming out of hiding. It has been an incredibly busy week. I had my hair done one night after work, and had a dentist appointment last night. Another night I went and mailed Christmas presents after work. It seems like I have been coming home late every night. Hmmmm.
I got bad news at the dentist last night. I rejected the implant so he had to remove it. I STILL have infection in my jaw!
This has gone on WAY too long and I am sick and tired of it. I am on antibiotics again for the third time. Sigh.
Lisa, on your field trip to Indiana, be sure to stop at the Beef House in Covington IN on Interstate 74. It will be one of the best meals that you ever eat! Yum! I LOVE that place. Have a fun weekend! I am glad you are not going to be so overworked. I hate it when there are people waiting impatiently and you just cant move fast enough.
Dawn, I am so sorry about your car. I read about your saga earlier this week. I need to take mine in for a big repair job but have not done so yet. It sounds like you need to pronouce the car dead and move on. I dread that day. I know it will not be easy. I hope you have a good weekend. I am extremely curious to know just what will be a Christmas/Chemistry show. That intrigues me.
Crystal, we need to find you a tranquilizer.
I hope you can relax and have fun on your date. Just try to relax and quit worrying about him judging you. After all, it matters what you think of him as well! Take a deep breath and remember, that if it does not work out, there are plenty of others out there. I got lucky with the third guy.The first one I met was a total disaster, the second one was ok but the third one is great! You just have to find the right one to click with. For you it may be the first one. Who knows.
