Friday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I am soooo happy it's Friday.  Not only for the obvious reasons but also because Blaine goes home tonight.  It;s not that I don't like Blaine...he's a very sweet cat.  But my kitty hates not having full run of the house.  I feel bad having to divide my time between cats.  I just want things back to normal.  I will try Nancy's ideas tonight after work.

After work I have some groceries to do and that's it.  I will come home and clean up and relax.

I am working and looking forward to getting out of here for the weekend.

Monday is Todd's birthday and he, Liv and I are going to spend the night in Lake Geneva tomorrow.  David has declined the invitation.  I have never been to Lake Geneva so I hope he likes it.  The room has a gas fireplace and a whirlpool tub.  Relaxing is in order!  I went to the store at lunch and got some stuff for snacks and breakfast since it also has a kitchenette.

David stayed somewhere else last night.  I am not sure where it will all end for him.  It is really too bad but I can't have our lives in upheaval all the time.

I'd better get back at it......

Hello Ladies, glad to see everyone is doing well!  I got my surgery date today, it is December 19th. It has really slapped me upside the head.. I am so nervous all of a sudden.  I have to start my liquid diet Monday but am having a hard time finding the Liquid/power stuff they want me on locally. And I wont have time to mail order it to start it by Monday. But I will search on.. it is #1 on the list for this weekend, being I am now the one who COMES FIRST!! :)  I placed a call to my food counselor, Ive been having a hard time with Christmas coming and my mom not being here. I'm going to sit with the family this weekend and let them know I'm going to have to remove myself from alot of the planning (its at my house every year) since I need to stay focused on me and myself though this. I know they will understand.  I have hockey again this weekend but thankfully they are evening games, My son played his best game ever last night and won MVP of the game and was interviewed on TV for the local Joliet channel 6. Which was SUPER cool for him.  I am still having bleeding problems and they are putting me back on the birth control daily high dosages to see if it helps again.  Since I will be on blood thinners they want to make sure my menstrual cycle slows down.

I think I rambled enough (can you tell I'm really nervous!!!)  Looking forward to spending more time on the board and getting to know everyone more.  Now that I'm "official" with a date and all.

Had a hard day shopping today with Monica. I think we did everything we needed to do, plus bonding time.

Jill, you will be fine. Being nervous is normal.

Dawn, he will come around. By not making him go this weekend, you are showing him that you respect his decision,even if you don't like it.

Crystal, I am sure the furbabies will accept each other eventually.

I have been driving myself nuts this past week. I couldn't find my Xmas CDs, actually, i couldn't find ANY. This afternoon, I opened another closet, and there they were. I must of put them there when I was cleaning.
