Tuesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Today I am picking up Amanda before work so she cn borrow my car.
I am looking forward to my weekend already....but that's because I can't wait to see the new Twilight movie!!! This will be the first time I won't have a buddy to go with or early veiwing tickets. But I am not one of those people that won't go to the movies alone. I have no problems going alone.
On the whole dating thing...talking about doing things alone. I have been talking to a couple people online. I haven't actually met anyone in person yet. One of things I always ask is "name 10 things people don't know about you"....you get some interesting answers.
Have any of you seen that extreme couponing? I saw one episode and it seems to be a lot of work for stuff I don't need. Would any of you do this couponing?

I love couponing! But I try to do it only on things I NEED or I know I will USE. I'm already on a tight budget!

I will give it a shot.
1. I love to bake, decorate, and collect cupcakes but I don't eat them. (I collect things with cupcakes on them or shaped like cupcakes- like I have a cupcake cookie jar and an umbrella with cupcakes on it etc.)
2. I'm obsessed with the character GIR from Invader Zim, an old cartoon from Nickelodeon. He is a robot dressed in a green dog costume who is defective and very silly. I have TONS of GIR stuff from clothes to candles to purses to jewelry and more!
3. I hate coconut and pineapple unless its in a mixed drink and I can barely taste it.
4. I'm obsessed with electronic gadgets esp. video games. My current phone is a PlayStation phone (Sony Experia Play)
5. I am a really good cook and baker. I specialize in special dietary needs like gluten free, gluten and casein free, WLS-friendly, sugar-free, dye free, and organic foods and treats.
6. I make custom tea blends and spice blends.
7. I make homemade greeting cards, invitations, thank you cards, and holiday cards.
8. I have two boys (ages 10 and 7) who are Autistic. They are both very smart for their age and my oldest son may be intellectually gift and/or a savant.
9. I've been married twice. One divorce is already finished and I am going through another right now.
10. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis earlier this year. The doctors are now starting to look at multiple sclerosis as well.
I've tried the online dating thing. It's exhausting. Getting to know people online or by texting (I don't talk on the phone) then going out for dinner or something. Blah. I got back with my boyfriend I dumped 2 weeks after I dumped him I think because I didn't like dating so much. But things don't change. The boyfriend was great the first 2 weeks I took him back (he came back to me) but now it's the same old same old. Meh.
Anyway- who else wants to do the 10 things?!

Ooooo...I will play...where is everyone???
1. I am deathly afraid of dentists....the way some people are afraid of spiders or snakes. I hate them and try to never go to them. The last time I went to the dentist I couldn't sleep for days and I had digestive problems...TMI.
2. I studied to become a paramedic. I still have the license (it is expired but keep it anyway). I finished 2nd out of 120 classmates!!! Funny thing never worked a day as a paramedic...hmmmm.
3. I hate reading directions. I will spend twice as long trying to figure something out on my own, than if I just had read the directions to begin with. Every cell phone I have ever bought I have had a friend read the directions set it up and show me how to use it...all because I hate reading directions.
4. My worst habit is picking my lips. I pick them till they bleed. Its worst when I am stressed but I will do it at any time. I also pick my cuticles...but my lips are much worse.
5. I keep all of my DVDs in alphabetical order and on index cards...I got the idea from When Harry Met Sally and I thought it was such a great idea I did that night and it's been that way ever since. Except I went a step further...hahaha....of course....I color coded the index cards by movie genre....like blue is horror and yellow is comedy.
6. I hate cooking and baking...yet I own 2 dozen cookbooks or more. WHY??? Who knows??? I am hoping I will enjoy it one day...then I will be prepared???
7. I have this weird fascination with serial killers. Not weird like I am pen pals with them and want to have a prison house wedding....weird like I would love to know why they do the things they do. I am not repulsed by what they do, rather it makes me ask why. I own quite a few books about serial killer psychology.
8. I look forward to my birthdays with the bated anticipation of an 8 year old kid....still even at 40...I think this is one of my most endearing qualities!!!
9. I love surprises. I don't want to know what I am getting for Christmas or my birthday.
10. I have different dances I do for different occasions. I have a "happy Friday" dance. A "I get to see Amanda" dance, "I'm eating cookies" dance....you get the picture....hahaha

I used to use coupons but found that non-name brands are cheaper without the coupons than most of the stuff that have coupons. I still use them ocassionally, but the extrememstuff? CRAZY, I say!

1. I LOVE to read, Stephen King is a big favorite. I no longer seem to have TIME to read, but I DO have over an hour a day in my car. Now I LISTEN to books.
2. I live in a small town of 300 people and love it.
3. I was born in Brewyn, IL and grew up in Chicago until the age of 8.
4. After that, I lived in lots of places in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois.
5. I love to cook and bake. Cupcakes are also a favorite of mine. I love to find new combinations, fillings and ideas.
6. I am very artistic and love to tie dye and make jerwlery.
7. I HATE my job.
8. I want to retire or move somewhere warm and make a living doing what I LOVE....not what pays the bills. Hubby has suggested a bar & grill where I can sell my art/cupcakes/food/baking/jewelry on the side.
9. I have 3 kids. The first is 33, then 18 & 15. I am NOT old enough to have a 33 year old daughter.
10. I have two grandchildren (ditto on the NOT old enough) that I love very much and get a HUGE kick out of my granddaughter, who is her mother's "mini-me"!
