Wednesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Every day is a little bit better. I am hoping by next week I can exercise again. When I move my head to fast I can feel a sharp pain so I am not even going to try to push myself into exercise. Maybe this weekend I will just walk. This whole thing has taken a lot out of me and I can't wait till the weekend. Every night I have gone right to bed and have not done any reading. This weekend will be a lay around and do nothing kind of weekend!!!
Nothing is going on today with me. How about you guys????

Good Morning Everyone!
Another rainy day and later today they have the s word in there! Yuck! Hopefully I live far enough south to dodge the bullet.
No special plans for me today. I got my two teeth pulled last night. So today I am on a soft diet. The joys of having bad teeth. Good thing I like yogurt.
Crystal, I remember struggling to get migraines under control. That was not fun! I hope you get on an even keel soon. That is not fun. All you want to do is lay down and close your eyes.
My sinuses are draining so my headaches and dizziness are easing some. It sure is a slow process. There must really be a lot of fluid up there.
I hope everyone has a good day. Stay warm and dry and drive carefullly!

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
I am glad that both you and Nancy are feeling some relief. My cold from last week is hanging on a little, but besides the occasional coughing fit, I am just tired. I fell asleep watching TV last night at 6:45!
Not too much happening here. Rainy and icky, but I have not heard anything about snow. It can stay away as far as I am concerned!
Todd is taking the Scouts camping this weekend (in a cabin) so Liv and I are on our own. I THINK there is a Holiday art/craft show in Madison that we may check out. I got free passes at the Food & Wine Show.
Besides that, just working in hell and getting by.

Afternoon everyone. Still no surgery date. Went to the pulmonolgyst yesterday. He game me good and bad news. He mentioned my menorrhagia and being on the blood thinners after surgery and all of it being a big question mark. My ob/gyn isn't much help as of now. Actually told me to lose the weight to help the bleeding... So needless to say I'm feeling defeated yet again.. get this close and there is always something to kaba**** I'm waiting on a call from the ob and my GB Surgeon to see what they both suggest. Mean while, I'm stuck in the house not able to do anything due to bleeding and clotting so bad. and I have gained 3 lbs in 3 weeks.... looking for hope somewhere..

p.s. the good news was I had no breathing issues.. he wants me to do an over nighter with an oxygen thingy on my finger and just to make sure I dont stop breathing while I sleep. I Had a sleep apnea test a few years back and it was fine.

I had and still have heavy periods due to fibroids ( one is the size of an orange). I take birth control pills that seem to control the bleeding pretty well. My surgeon let stay on my pills before and after suregery. He said the risk of a blood clot from them was a fraction of a precent. But if I don't get up and walk around because I'm bleeding too much then I the percent will e higher. My surgeon had no problems and I had complications.
