Hooray! Our Ottawa computer problems are solved. Yesterday, I was able to get onto the wireless and actually use the programs.
Hopefully, the same can be said for Streator.
We drove up to Garden Ridge on Rt. 59 last night. I found a 3 drawer chest to use in the rec room. I found a lamp too. This had turned into a 3 year search. I can now say the house is compleatly furnished!!!! I do want to change the file cabinets in the home office, in due time.
Today, we have a wellness check at 8, another appointment at 11, and Hubert has one at 1:30. Plus various other errands. Did I mention I am going to start painting between all of this.
Dawn, go into to work smiling and humming. It will drive everyone nuts trying to decide what you are so happy about.

Funny you should say that Lisa.....that is EXACTLY what I am doing today....smiling and humming. The SIL is here, coughing and sniffling. Yesterday, I did the work of 3 people and I didn't let it stress me out (too much). I felt very accomplished when I left here.
CRYSTAL! WHERE are Amanda and Charles "leaving"? I must have missed something of just don't remember. I know you moved to be near them.
I hope Nancy is feeling better today too. Keep us updated on how the tests go.
I really would like to attend the Madison Wine & Food show this weekend, but I can't seem to get anyone to go with me. I might just go alone!

Dawn- They are leaving probably next year at this time to go to the Peace Corp (we don't know exactly how long process will be...they might leave sooner). They will be gone for 2 years. I knew this when I moved here but I decided not to wait till after they came back to move out here. I thought this way I can spend more time with them before they leave and I will be well established when they come back.
In the meantime while they are gone their stuff will have to be stored (I would take the expensive stuff and keepsakes) and I will take their kitty. I have room for some of their stuff but most of it will have to go to a storage facility.

I am hanging in just waiting for tests. Did not go to work again today. Still pretty dizzy. I did get some meds a few minutes ago from my doctor so will see if that helps.

I do hope it continues to behave!. Is Garden Ridge a store or a town? Where is it? Sounds neat. I am so happy that you found what you are looking for.
