Anyone from Joliet area? Seeing Dr. Joyce?

Is there anyone arounf the Joliet area  or seeing Dr Joyce at the BMI on copperfield ave Joliet>

I go to his partner Dr Lahmann.  BMI has a great program.  I think you will be very happy with Dr Joyce

Dr. Joyce performed my RNY surgery in March of 2010.  I really like him.

I really like him also.  He is highly ranked with all of my Doctors and other surgeons.  Everyone says he is the best.  I am lucky to have found him.
Do either of you go to the support group at the end of the month.  If so..I look forward to meeting you.

I went to a few of the support groups but it's too large for my taste.  I am looking for something more intimate.  They do have great speakers and subjects they discuss. 

Crystal, I go to a support group here in Bloomington on the 2nd Monday of the month.  It orginally was started by my surgeons office but has been opened to anyone who wants to come to it.  We meet at 7:00.  Bloomington is only about 45 mins from you straight west on i74.

I see Dr. Joyce.  He does have an excellent reputation.  He did my lapband.  He's a man of few words, but very nice.  He doesn't  make you feel bad about anything and he is really good at what he does.  I have only been to one or two of the support groups.  I'm like Chrystal, I think they are kind of large, but I think it is good to go, especially in the beginning.  My surgery was in Nov, so I didn't want to travel in the dark and in the bad weather, so didn't go more until Springtime.  If i had been more local, I prbly would have gone more often.!  Good luck

Small world!  I was born and raised in Manteno, so well aware of that rivalry!  LOL  Know GGarden, too. 

ARe you thinking lapband or RNY?  And do you know when  Just starting the process?
