Good Morning Everyone.

Along with most of you, I too was very thin growing up. When i got married I wore a size 10. A year and a half later, I was a size 16. Fast forward a number of years, a size 32 and 330 lbs. Now, five years after becoming a loser, I am still 50 lbs to goal, but I feel fantastic! Ok. at 65 years old, I do have a few problems, but all in all, I feel great, I can walk, I have energy,
I love life, LIFE is GOOD. I guess this turned into a surgiversary note ( which is the 17th).

I am going to work this morning, hoping all of our computer issues are solved. I had the IT guy there yesterday. We lost our IT addy. Hopefully, we wont have any problemds in Ottawa this morning.

Hugs, have a great day,

LISA

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

Happy Surgiversary LISA!!!!!
Is it really 5?  Your profile says 4.  Funny how we lose track of time later on......remember when each day was counted before and right after surgery?   My 5 year will be at the end of the month.  I never lost those last 30-40 lbs. that I had hoped for and have gained 30 from my lowest.  I still feel better than I did before surgery!

Crystal......bulbs are pretty easy from my experience.  Just follow the directions for depth and watch the show in the Spring!

I am just working today, then home to vacuum since I didn't do anything over the weekend and Liv has activities all week after school.  Will put on a pot of rice for the family to go with the beans/bean soup that I have thawed.

It is good to see Raven posting!  I haven't had a chance to check the blog, so I am not sure what she is feeling about body image, but I can say that I STILL have a distorted body image.  When I was at my heaviest, I did not really realize how BIG I was.  Now, that I have lost weight, I still see myself as HUGE.  When I was at my lowest, I thought I looked pretty good, but still had issues with a hanging pannus and stretch marks.  I think part of the human condition is to never be satisfied.

I am wishing everyone a fantastic day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Evening Everyone!

Well, unlike everyone else, I have struggled with my weight all my life.  I was a chunky kid, teen and adult.  It has been a yo yo life for me, sigh.  Always envious of those skinny people. I guess I am never destined to be one.  I agree with Dawn, I still have problems with my body image and feel huge.  Probably will never get over that feeling.

I spent today at home today.  Still dizzy.    Last night when my head hit the pillow everything started spinning -- ugh!  Feel better today if I dont move suddenly, or turn my head quickly.  Those moves set off another bout.  I hope to go to work tomorrow as long as I am not playing bumper ball with me being the ball and the walls being the padded cushions -- they are not!

Lisa, I hope you got through your day without pc issues.  That would be so nice for a change!  Thinking positive for you!   Happy surgiversery!

Crystal, your bulbs should be ok.  They do need a few weeks in the ground before it freezes to establish themselves.

Dawn,  Happy upcoming surgiversary to you as well!   Glad to hear you had a complete do nothing weekend.  Those are so good to have every once in awhile.

Everyone have a great evening!

That sounds like the dizziness I had in May.  My doctor said dizzines cause by moving your hear is an inner ear disturbance that could be caused by fluid in your ears like mine).  It could also be the crystals in your ear have shifted around and will go away as fast as it started.  You should get some Bonine (motion sickness pills).  They helped so much.  I actually took double the dose and I was fine.
