Hello to all

Hello,

    Long time since I've posted here.  Hope everyone is doing well.

   Wondering if anyone havs ever set up a group get together..I live in the south burbs and hoping to make some new friends that can totally get the craziness of WLS post -op..

Good to "see" you again.

We have had several get togethers as a group.  I was going to have one with it being last weekend but "life" got in the way.
 
It is not hard to do. You can either have it at your house or if you have access to a clubhouse make arrangements there. We have had a couple at a restaurant also. Home locations are usually the most comfortable and we have made them pot luck. People will bring WLS friendly foods to share. We have also opened it to the families of the board members. It is great to sit down and share, newbies, pre ops and POs. What I do is post a thread like you have here and start planning.

I am in the NW 'burbs, there are others that are in the NW area of the state, central IL and then the Chgo area.

PS - if you care to join us on the daily roll call whenever you have the chance. It does not have to be everyday - It can be whenever you have a chance.
