Saturday Roll Call
I have a meatloaf in the frig for dinner tonight, and I will be cleaning house shortly. I went to the store on my way home from work yesterday, so that is one thing that doesn't have to be dne today.
Monica V and I are going to a Green Festival today. A friend of mine's mother makes tamales, and I am hungry for some good ones. So, we will buy some. Yes, i know they are full of fat, but, once in a while............
It is going to be a great sunny weekend. Take time to enjoy it. We won't be having to many more before the cold and gloom sets in.

I hope you enjoy the Green Festival. I went to a Green Festival once with Amanda. It was all environmental friendly stuff. I liked it. I agree it's OK to splurge once in awhile.
More about the light bulb conversation. I was reading Consumer Reports (I love the magazine) they had a small blurb about a new LED bulb by Phillips for $40!!!!! I was shocked $40!!! But then it last for 25 years!!!! Can you imagine...I by that bulb and Amanda would be older than me by the time I needed a new one!!!! It supposed to be better than the CFLs. But I have admit I am hesitant to spend $40.
I had a great time last night. Amanda was really surprised. I didn't get home till almost 2am!!! That's too late for me.
Today I have a lazy day. I am cleaning up a little and I'm going to check out this place Amanda told me about "Design Consign". It's more of a consignment expo. Today is 1/2 off day. I will check it out. Amanda was going on and on about it. I also have to figure out Amanda's dessert.
