Sunday Roll Call
Hello everyone
well yesterday wasn't very lazy. I ran around and did things all day long. I went to a bakery and bought Amanda a double chocolate mousse cake...I decided not to make dessert. I went to that consignment expo. Wow!!! Except I had the name wrong....it's called Divine Consign. I went to the 1/2 off sale. They only take name brand gently used items. I bought 3 sweaters, a jacket and a pair of pants for $23. They were all like new or new and all brands like Bill Blass, Cold water Creek, Christopher & Banks. You should look into going some time. Look it up on the Internet. Then I went to Pier 1 for wine glasses (for tonight) and then I bough some nice wine. Then Part City....Yep I'm going all out on this birthday party. Yesterday I also went to Walgreen's to enlarge my favorite wedding photos to frame. I also took some old photos of me and my family and put them on CD. I also went to Schnuck's for groceries.
Most exciting I went to a bike shop and bought a bike. I totally intended to buy a used bike. Well when I got there I told them I wanted a cruiser/comfort bike. They showed me a bike that was special ordered for someone and that lady decided she didn't like it. They were willing to give it to me at 1/2 of. So I bought a really nice bike for $200. I also got a used bike rack for $20. They put a bike light (it's the law) and I bought a basket. I went a really nice ride. I rode around my neighborhood. It's great to ride around, you really get to see the area (instead of driving by in a car). I forgot how much fun bike riding is!!!!
So today I am cooking and preparing fr the birthday party. What are you guys doing today???

Good Morning.
Today I am going to stain a new window, and if I feel like it, start to prime the office. It has had dark paneling on it for 35 years, and I and SICK of it. A new coat of paint, new windows and a new door, should do the trick. I will also get the laundry done, make dinner (pork roast) and see what else I can get into.
When I looked outside our side door this morning, I saw where my Morning Glories are starting to bloom. I guess I will leave the vines go for a bit. I had planned on knocking them down today.
Yesterday, Monica and I decided to go up to the Fox Valley area instead of the green festival in Utica. We stopped and got pumpkins and bittersweet. And at Garden Ridge, I bought a new Xmas tree. This one is 7 foot high, but smaller around (36 inches). It was a want, not a need, but, it will work greatly.
I also found a table for the living room, but I want Hubert to go with me to see it again.

Lisa- I need a new Christmas tree too...it's need though ( I tossed mine in the garbage it was broke). Where did you get yours? I want a 6 foot. I have already bought several boxes of ornaments. I decided I wanted new ornaments and a new color scheme. I had gold and now I want silver. I have a bunch of gold stars that I will spray paint silver.
Sounds like everyone had a nice weekend, I spent mine at work, but i'm off the next 3 days now. I guess checking in at 10pm is better than not at all. Got off work at 7 then stopped to get grocery on the way home, got them put away, and am sitting here in the peace and quiet all by myself.
Tomorrow, lets see,... eliptical, walk, clean out flower beds and rearrange some plants. We'll see what actually gets done. lol.. But, i've not been able to drink my coffee with my flavored creamer, (makes me feel ill, not quite dumping, but kinda close), so i actually get my day going much quicker since i don't drink 1/2 a pot before doing anything. I do miss my java though, wish i liked drinking it black, or even the sugar free stuff, but hate that artifical sweetner taste. Thats why giving up sodas was never a problem for me.
I suppose i should be off to bed if i want to get anything done tomorrow, was up at 4 the last 2 days. Kinda tired.
