Wednesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I can't believe no one has posted yet.
I have no plans today or tomorrow. Just work. I have actually enjoyed the cool crisp weather. As my daughter put it "I miss wearing my cozy clothes"...that's exactly how I feel. I hate Winter but I love Fall.
I started taking those Viativ calcium chews. I don't know why I resisted trying these. I can finally get all my calcium in. I have my chewable multivitamin and now these. They taste like tootsie rolls!!! Yummy!!! I'm not sure why I have trouble swallowing vitamins. I have no problems with those big antibiotics...but the vitamins just feel like they are hanging in the back of my throat.
Yesterday I made the mistake of eating too much of a roll and I threw up. Jasper's reaction was...he knew something was wrong and he got real quiet and hunched over. Than when when I was done he came over and rubbed himself on my feet...like he was saying "it's OK".

I'm totally bored at work right now, but I tend to prefer it that way! I have issues with the vitamins from the office too, not so much them getting stuck but that 5 minutes later the taste comes up with a burp and I've very nearly thrown up quite a few times! I discovered a liquid multivitamin last week, and while it certainly doesn't taste awesome, at least the taste is gone with a swig or two of water! What chewables do you use? I might try them when my liquid bottle runs out!

I'm going to weigh in the vitamin thing, too. I hate BMI's horse pill vitamins. They give me heartburn, so yes, Crystal, which chewable ones do you use? I also have been taking the Viactive Calcium chews and yes, yummy, easy to chew and swallow and I feel like I'm getting my calcium (although I only take one/day). On a side note, I found out Roxie (my dog) liked them too, when I set one on the table by my chair to take and she got to it first....paper wrapper and all!!

I use the Centrum multi-vitamin chewables. I too have that problem with burping up the taste of the vitamin for a couple of hours. With the chewables I have this problem no more. I tried the Calcium Petites but even those felt like they were stuck in my throat. I bought a bottle and after only two pills I gave the bottle away. what a waste of my money. I highly recommend the Viactiv chewables for Calcium

Glad the day is over. Our computers weere going crazy today. I think they get screwier by the day!
They were pulling stunts that they have never pulled before.
Not much else going on today. I am tired. Claude kept bugging me all night long. He obviously wanted something but I was not about to get out of bed to find out what. Maybe I should have given in because he would not let me sleep. Hopefully tonight he will sleep.
Crystal, It is funny how kitties react to you when you get sick or upset over things. They do sense that something is not right.
As for my take on the vitamin deal, I take the Walmart brand of a mult vitamin for pregnant women. Go figure. It has extra calcium and some of the vitamins we need. It is small and surprising there is no after taste like other vitamins. It seems to work for me.
