Good Sunday Morning.

I had a great nights sleep, other then I was up at 5. I have a roast in the crock pot, and a apple crisp in the oven (made with splenda). I am going to make chili later.  A meat loaf also. That should solve the dinner problems for this week,

Doing that, will be my only  "work",  for today.

What are you doing today? What are you eating?

Hugs,

LISA

Hello everyone

I am relaxing here watching Law and Order.  What's new

I finished the outside.  It looks very Halloweeny.  I am already coming up with ideas for Christmas.  I have no outdoor outlets, so I have to to see if I can string lights and connect them to my garage outlet.  I will have to see.  I know people think I am crazy but I have several Christmas presents bought and I bought some ornaments yesterday.  I could feel people looking at me like I was crazy.  Oh well.  I love Christmas.

I did see the movie "The Help"  yesterday.  The movie is good but of course they did change things.  The biggest changes were the personalities of some of the characters.  They were made to be more likable.

Jasper is doing better.  I notice the kitty boogers are not as bad.  The meds are giving him diarrhea but the doctor said this might happen.  It will be over soon and he will be ALLLLL better.

Today....I'm not sure what I will do today.  I will play it by ear.  I have a coupon for Christopher and Bank...I might go there.  I might go and get some pictures developed.  I know in this day and age people don't develop pictures any more but I hear all of the time where people have had pictures lost because their computer crashed.  Not happening to me.

Well see you guys later.  Bye

Good morning IL family.

Writing from sunny and very warm Dallas, Texas!

I am at a work conference, returning on Thursday.

Only sad thing is their outdoor pool is under renovations. I can't believe it. I was so looking forward to being outside, relaxing at the pool. I'll be going for a walk soon. They don't have a free exercise area - another downer. So I'll walk instead.

Tonight starts the actual conference with a vendor fair and reception. Too many goodies to tempt me. It's been really hard. I had a great DS breakfast - omelet with ham and mushrooms and coffee. Really wanted a croissant to eat. The butter part would be okay, it's the carbs part of it. Darn those carbs.

I did bring myself some cheese, hard boiled eggs, radishes and tuna in a packet to cut down on expenses. Of course, food is expensive at a downtown hotel - Hilton. There is nothing around that I could walk to - only by taxi and those are so expensive.

I will enjoy the warm and sunny walk. Don't miss the cold and misty rain showers at home. LOL....

Lisa - your meal planning sounds so yummy.

Crystal - happy to see that you are taking some "Me" time for yourself. You've been so busy getting your new home together. I, too love decorating for the holidays. Actually, St. Patricks Day is my favorite.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Hugs,
Lucy

Hey Lucy, I wonder if you complain at the front desk that you were looking fwd to the pool for a FREE workout, and ask is they will allow you to use the workout room instead, they might!  I would htink the Hilton wouldn't want unhappy customers.  Worth a try, maybe!

Good Morning Everyone!

Another pretty day outside.  It was so nice outside when I went out to feed the cats.  I need to come up with something to do outside today.  Yesterday I took a 3 hour nap in the afternoon so I wasn't tired last night and stayed up really late.  Now I have my sleep schedule all screwed up.

Lisa, what time are dinners this week?  They sound yummy!  I should do that more often.  I find myself coming home and then trying to figure out what to fix for supper.

Crystal
, I know you had fun decorating.  A long outdoor extension cord slipped under the garage door will provide electricity outside.  You can get an outlet on a stake that has 4 or mor outlets on it and plug it into your extension cord.  Problem solved.  I am glad Jasper is doing better.  Diarrhea is no fun to clean up.  Poor kitty.

Don, I loved your post from yesterday.  So funny!    I think I may print it out and frame it above my computer at work!

Lucy, Long time no hear from!  Glad you are doing ok.  I love Texas.  Love that BBQ and Tex Mex.  Carbs are not my friend either.  It is too bad that everything yummy is carb loaded.  Sigh.  I wish someone would invent the carbless carb food.  That stinks that the pool is under construction.  And what is up with no work out center at a Hilton?  I would be griping loudly lol.

Everyone have a great day!

Boring day.  Nothing crazy special.  Even put in a few extra hours at work to experiment with some new IT tools.

Nancy, glad you liked the posting.  The first time I saw that theme was in a cartoon.  The buzzards are on a catus and below them is a man crawling across the desert for water.  Never forgot that one.  You see that in PHX area a lot.  You also see this...
