Hump Day Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am sitting here wishing it was a Friday....
I saw movie last night is called Bag It. It's amazing how terrible these things are for us. But because of rich powerful corporations it is allowed to continue. There are communities all over the world that have banned plastic bags and they are doing fine. I wish we would do things like that here. A couple of cities tried but the plastics industry sued them!!! Can you believe that???
I am tired because up late last night. I want to hurry up and finish "The Help" because I would love to go see the movie this weekend.
Tonight after work nothing is going on...which is good. I want to just chill out. I might go price some tires. I am not sure where to get my tires. There's a Farm & Fleet right here by work. Or I could go to Sam's Club??? They don't have Discount Tires or NTB down here. I find Goodyear expensive. I don't know. Have any of you gotten tires lately???

I am leaving for a seminar up in Orland at 10:30 today for the rest of the day. That is a nice change and will get me through the week!! I want to go see the Help, but have just not had time. Like you, I hope to see it before it leaves! I may read the book this winter.
RE: Tires, I always get my tires at Farm and Fleet, but wait and make sure you are getting ones that are on sale. Don't know how long you can wait, but my last ones (over the years) have been uniroyal Tiger Paw and I've been happy, but wanted to tell you last time I bought them, they were a "black Friday special" and it was buy 3 get one free. WELL worth it....but if you need them now, see what they have on sale at the time.
It is Oktoberfest in Manteno this weekend. Chloe will be up and we'll go to that. They have a lighted parade on Saturday night, which is always fun, and of course, carnival rides!

Good Afternoon Everyone!
Another day survived with the computer grinch! Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised when we got our stats for last week. They only did one day and threw the rest away due to so many computer issues. My stats met goal at 100% so that was a relief. Today was turtle day -- that was the speed of my computer.
I am determined I am going to beat this system and that it is NOT going to beat me.
Crystal, I buy my tires at a local tire store. They have some of the best prices. I dont go to Farm and Fleet or WalMart because many of those service areas do not do the best job at servicing. They make shortcuts that can be dangerous. I call around to find the best prices. Of course, I have to have someone install them for me. I am not handy.
I would like to see that film on plastic bags and the one on WalMart. I know they are not environmentally friendly so I do recycle them.
Georgie, I hope you have a good seminar. octoberfest sounds like fun! I can remember some very good times at some Octoberfests in my younger days.
Not much else happening here. I am off to PT in a few minutes. Time to go get tortured again.

The one good thing today is that I got my laptop back from the shop. I don't know what they found, but I will.
We still don't have all the glinches worked out of our new system yet. But I am sure they will, at some time. So, its computer and paper both.
