Monday Roll Call
Morning/day all! Fast fly by for me as I have a lot of work sitting on my desk from the weekend.
We had a fantastic time at my sister's 80th yesterday and we also celebrated her twim grown boys 59th birthdays. Yes, I have nephews and a niece older than me. We all went to HS together.
Have a lot on my plate today once I leave here. I need to get ready for the Walk From Obestity and a family wedding on Saturday. We are staying over at the hotel with shuttle service for the wedding in Geneva. We are really looking forward to it.
Later everyone!

Good Morning,
I will be heading to work within a few minutes. We will see what today brings.
Yesterday I mostly watched the 9/11 stuff. I also got stuff ready for this coming weekend.
I will be going on Thursday evening to my class 65th birthday party. It is always fun to get together with old friends that knew you when.
Chris, you are having a lot of nice weekends too.
Stay safe.
Hugs,
LISA

I saw his picture. What fun a new kitty.
My Siamese cat used to chew on the outside housing of extension cords and other wires. I found for him it was a boredom issue and negative attention issue. He stopped eventually. When you get him checked out by a vet if you need to go ask what you can apply to the outside of the wires to keep him away. You might want to try liquid hot pepper sauce dabbed on them. The same Siamese used to love the TP, chew it and unroll and pull it through the house. Again I think he needed the attention because he only did it when we were not home and then when he got older (2-3 years) he stopped.
We had another cat when young and I think bored that would chew cardboard and paper grocery sacks. He grew out of it.

Good Afternoon Everyone!
It is another beautiful day. Would love to be home more now that the weather is so nice. But no, I have to work. Sniff.
Work was fun today. Our 800 numbers were cutting people off after the first ring. They finally got a work around connected after all of us had twiddled our thumbs for an hour. The only problem then was you could not transfer calls.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/atwitsend.gif)
I spent most of the weekend laid back and watching stuff on 9/11. It is so sad but important to remember the impact that this event had on our country. There are many interesting personal stories on the internet from people who lived through the event and some about those who did not make it. Plus many videos.
Chris, it sounds like you had a really good weekend but are super busy today. Hope your whole week is not like that.
Lisa, your reunion sounds exciting! It is amazing how fast time flies. It has been 44 years for me.
I hope you have a wonderful time. It sounds like you have your clothes picked out and all you have to do is pack up and go!
Crystal, Jasper is adorable. He will bring you lots of company. I expect to start hearing Jasper stories. You can buy spray stuff that is called "No" or "Stop that" or something like that. It will not stain anything plus it will deter Jasper from the enticing things. If they want something, they will move heaven and earth to get it. Also, if you have not had him declawed, get the spray stuff for your furniture. You will want to protect that especially couch edges. They love to use those for scratching pads. He should have his own scratch pad whether he is declawed or not. You can get a variety of options from a post, to something that hangs on the door knob to a toy that has a ball in a ring and the center is a cardboard scratching area. The last is my cats favorite. It combines a toy and a good diversion. Also, hand up your toilet paper backward. Chris is right. You will come home and find a trail through your house some day if you dont.
Rick and I were talking about his son's kitten and he has discovered the FUN of taking a kleenex out of a box of pop up kleenexes. That keeps them amused for hours and creates a mess as well! You will get to know what his good and bad things are. A tap on the nose and a strong NO is effective as discipline. Have fun and enjoy!
