Good Morning.

I will be wearing many hats today.Merry Maid this morning, as well as errand runner. Accountant and gardener. Then later, a dinner date. But right now, I am enjoying a cup of decafe.

It looks like it might rain. I hope it holds off untill I am home from my errand.

Christine, Our tomatoes are going nuts. They have overran the entire garden, We used cow manure on it in the spring.

My flower garden is being dug up. All I am leaving is some Pappas Grass. I want to cover it in mulch, and use large pots on it. I am tired of the over growth.

My house is going through a quieting down also. I want a peaceful life inside. ( no clutter or loudness.)

Cyrstal, I hope you will be able to slow down and smell the flowers you are planting.

Dawn, I know it feels horrid when you ask for hhelp and noone shows up.

Nancy, I really understand how frustrated you are with the new system; I think I got mine with my work computer solved, and then they deside to upgrade and turn it off for hours, Oh, they are nice enought to send you an email, 5 minutes before they shut down.

Morning Lisa and IL.

Lisa, I have been thinking about you for the last few days during the news talk about lay offs. Aren't you employed by the state? I sometimes cannot keep things straight. Correct me if I am wrong and I appologize if I got it wrong.

Anyways, we have "Oktober Drunk" (that is what we call it at IPD) going on tonight and tomorrow in our downtown area.  It is an easy walk for us to get to. I find it rather boring but love the German food. We will get something to share and then have a wine and walk home.

Tomorrow we are going to the Sandwich Fair. It is an annual trek for us. We usually like to go on Sunday and then go to mass and one of the ecumenical services but-NO my sister's kids planned Bebe's 80th Bday party for the 11th. Oh well, we can always go to the fair but you only have your sister turning 80 once.

Chris, no, I work for a private non-profit community action. We get some of our mooney from the state, and we do state run programs.

Have fun at both the drunk fest and the fair.

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

I sure am glad it is Friday.  I am technology challenged out for the week.  I made it through work today and the repair person came for my phone and internet.  It turns out that the area squirrels are having fun gnawing on my phone wires.  The little devils had all the wire coating off and bare wire exposed.  Any time the wind blew, it shorted out the phone connection.  That was probably my payback for having my big tree removed several years ago.  

No special plans for this weekend for me.  I was supposed to teach tomorrow but the class got cancelled due to lack of participants.  I dont feel too bad about that.  I have spent a lot of time reflecting on 9/11 and have watched a few specials about it.  It is sad to feel we are in no better shape than we were 10 years ago.  Also it is amazing how much emotion lingers over what happened that day.  

Crystal,  I hope your furniture finally gets there this week.  It must be very frustrating to not have any.  The delays would be getting to me.  

Lisa, it sounds like you had a very busy day today.  I hope your date night gives you a chance to relax and unwind.  Also, I know how frustrated you must be with only a 5 minute notice that they are shutting the system down.  With my luck I would get the message 5 minutes AFTER it was shut down.  

Chris, I hope you and Dave enjoy your October fest this evening.  I too like German food.  Also enjoy the Sandwich fair.  I have never been but always hear so much good about it.  

Sandy,  I am so happy that things are settling down for you.  40 lbs -- CONGRATS!  That is exciting!  Keep up the good work.
