Happy Labor Day,

Anyone, other then Dawn, have any great plans for today?

We don't have any firm plans for today. I think it will be very layed back. I do have a couple of things to da, normal weekend stuff.

 T omorrow, starts a long dry spell until the next day off. I think for us it is Vet. Day in November.

The birthday party we went to yesterday was great. It was so nice seeing some family we haven't seen in a while.We also went and got the stuff we need to put the pool to bed for the season. With the temps falling, the heat in the water will cool off too.

Well, it looks like everyone is busy today, myself included as I did not get on until now. We will be out of the house at about 3pm to our friends house but in the meantime I am just chilling in the house. I helped Dave make the baked beans to take with and I have make a cheese spread also.

Happy Labor Day all,
I haven't been around and for that I am sorry.  My family and I recently got home from camping and I am trying not to fall asleep just yet.
We had a good time but it was such a  "Murphy's Law" trip.  We discovered our camper had storm damage when I was awakened midmorning to rain on my head.  Not only was I getting dripped on, but I was soaked.  Nothing like a wet sleep.  Then my hubby was getting ready to go out in the boat to discover he had blown a motor fuse.  When it rained, the ground flooded and when I stepped out, I was down in 5in of water.
There were other small things that kept happening but in all a good time.  Can't get angry and thrash out, just need to deal with the issues.
Tomorrow back to work.  Hopefully I will be riding my bike most of this week.  Need to get back into some daily workout.
