Good morning and happy Saturday to one and all! Been  up for a while and have not done much and really do not have much planned for the day.

Been busy with being creative this last week. Did not have too much of a busy week at work but just enough to keep me busy. What is going on with all of you this weekend? We are staying close to home today and tomorrow and then Monday we will go to a couple friend's house in Bartlett.

Later Gators

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!

I am up and getting ready to make food for the various parties and things going on this weekend.  Today/tonight is an annual party we attend at a horse farm.  Todd is out golfing with the guys this morning.  They will do their fantasy football draft this afternoon and the party is later.  There is always good food, good friends and kareoke (sp?).

My car trouble turned out to be a bad battery.  Easy fix and it is fine now!  WHEW!

Lots of choices on what to do tomorrow, but what we SHOULD do is yard work.  We will see.

Monday is the Lawn Tractor Pulls and that is always a hoot.  We have a neighborhood barbeque when they are done being silly.

That's about it for me.

Everyone have a spectacular day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Hello everyone

I have been one busy bee.  I stayed up last night and got my living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway done.  I was soooo sweaty when I was done that when I changed out of my clothes they were so heavy and wet from sweat...you would have thought I just took them out of the wash machine!!!!  I still have to do the part up by the ceiling (I need a ladder) and I have the red accent wall to do today.  Then it will be fixing mistakes on the trim.  I have to say I am surprised at how hard I can work now.  I painted for a few hours and did laundry last night!!!  I am a work horse...who would have thought.

I still have the bathroom and den to do but I don't have a time frame to get those rooms done.  I chose to keep the my bedroom white.  I was soooo proud of myself I did all that painting with out any big disasters.  I didn't even get paint on myself or clothes.  Then this morning I was going around with a small pan of paint and touching up some spots.  Well I wasn't paying attention and some how I let a bunch of paint spill out onto the carpet!!!!  How do you get paint out of a carpet!!!!  What a clumsy dip I am.

Today after that fiasco I went to the farmer's market, the co-op and Meijer.  Now I'm home relaxing eating breakfast.  I am going to stop by Amanda's work today and drop off some goodies I bought her at the farmer's market.  I got her some zucchini bread, homemade honey, and pumpkin cupcakes...see how nice it is to have your mom live near by...hahaha!!!  Then I am going to get some Chipotle!!!!  I don't go there like I used to because it's on campus and it's a headache to go.  But if I go early on a Saturday I can guarantee that it will be slow...every one will still be sleeping.  Then I more painting today.

Well I will let you go and get back to my yummy banana bread (fresh from the Amish stand) and Little House on The Prairie (I love that show...I even have the full set of books that I read as an adult)  Have a wonderful Saturday...bye

Crystal, not sure how to get it the paint out other than what Nancy said. Of course by now it is in the drying mode. You might be able to Google it and figure it out.

Good Morning.

We are gearing up to a family BBQ this afternoon, then going to The Streator Roamer Cruise Night tonight. So, hubert is outside doing the outside stuff, and I am inside doing stuff, so everything will be ready.

Tomorrow a 90th birthday for Huberts aunt, and we are thinking for Monday to go ower to Henry and see a WW2 landing craft that has been refurbished. They built them at the Seneca Boat Yard during the War.

Dawn, you have a great fun weekend. Crystal, It sounds like you will have your house done shortly. Christine, its nice that you are chilled out. San, Happy Birthday a couple of days late. Nancy, I know you will enjoy your 3 day weekend.

Praying that the rain stays away.  Stay Safe.

Huggers,
LISA
