Sunday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am almost done with the painitng in the main area of the house. That one accent wall took forever to do. It's a really deep dark red and it took several coats to get it looking nice. I can't wait till this is all done. Once the walls are dry I will be hanging pictures and curtains. Then I will be done there....just add furniture. Then I have to work on the den. I have four shelves to put together and paint that room. It will be nice to get all of my books out of boxes and up on shelves. All of this work it will be so worth it when it's all done. It will be the home I always wanted.
So today I will be finishing up the painting. Then I will pop outside to do some yard work. Then start the lasagna for dinner with Amanda and the SIL.
I am looking forward to this nice cool weather. I am so glad it's a three day weekend....ahhhh.

Well, Yesterday started great, with the sun.The pool was 88 degrees. We had a great cookout, even if we had to cook in the house, and it went downhill from there,
The Roamer Cruise Night was a total washout. It is the first time ever that it happened. Hopefully today, with the car show, things will go better (without rain).
We are heading to Joliet today. We have Huberts aunt 90th birthday party, and we need to stop at American Sales and get the new winter cover for the pool. Ours ripped to shreds last year.

Crystal, you just are like a whirling dervish with the painting, gardening and the decorating. You go girl!
Yesterday I got the majority of my necklaces organized and just have a few more to put labels on. This morning I have the 3 season room almost cleaned. I just have a small amount of vacuuming to do. I want to finish stringing a necklace later on and then we think we would like to sit on the front drive and enjoy the weather and sun and I will take out some yarn with me to crochet more necklaces.
Lisa, that stinks about the rain yesterday with the car show. Those cars are precious to the people that own them and they do not like to get them wet.
We have a new addition to the neighborhood. Our neighbors immediately to the south are the proud parents of a new little boy, Thomas William and he is just under 7#. He was 2 weeks early unlike the big brother that came 2 weeks late.

Happy Day Everyone!
It is high noon and a gorgeous day! I have all my windows open and the cats have each claimed a window as their own! The fresh air is so nice after a summer of being closed up! I love weather like this. Too bad it cant be year round. We had horrible storms yesterday and Mitzi somehow had escaped and was caught outside in them. She was VERY happy to come back inside. No worse for wear, only cleaner.
No plans today except to enjoy the beautiful day, play with the cats and maybe do some cleaning. Then again, I may just play on the computer or read a book. Who knows.
Crystal, you are in high power mode! That energy needs to be shared! You are amazing girl! You have done so much in such a short time. I sure hope you don't decide to move soon. Your body probably would rebel!

Lisa, I am so sorry that the car show got rained out. That is really a shame. Volunteers put such hard work into organizing that and then to have it washed out is so sad. Today is a beautiful day so hopefully people stuck around and will be back today! Streator tries so hard to celebrate the holidays and always plans some great activities!
Chris, it sounds like you were a busy beaver in the creative department yesterday! It is nice to have a stockpile growing so that you can have another show and make some $$$$$
It is also exciting to have a new baby in the neighborhood! I love babies and they are so priceless. It is such a joyous time for families. It is fun to watch them grow and see the future develop before your eyes!
Sandy, If you haven't gotten your AC fixed, the house will cool off today!
