Good Morning.

This is suppose to be the hottest day of the summer. Stay cool.

What is everyones plan for this last 3 day weekend of the summer? I am cooking today, and tomorrow my kids are coming for a BBQ, then we will be going to The Roamer Cruise Night, here in Streator. Last year they had over 600 cars registered. Then Sunday, we will be attending a birthday celebration for Hubert's 90 year old aunt. Monday, I think will be layed back, and getting ready for the work week.

I worked 3 days this week. Today, I am home. Yesterday went easier then I thought it would. It was a long day, getting used to the new programs, but I think I feel a bit better about them.

Have a great safe day.

Huggers.

Hello everyone

Well it might be the hottest day of the year but they have the AC on full blast....I have a heater on and pointing right at me and I have a jacket on.  I am freezing.  So walking outside today might feel good (at least for the first minute or so).

I stayed up last night and started to paint...got going and didn't want to stop.  I remember painting 6 years ago and I was exhausted after 30 minutes...but I was 150 lbs heavier.  I think this painting might not be as hard as I thought it would be.  I have to get most of it done this weekend.  I am just anxious to get my house in order.  It's not in my nature to have to live like this.  I need order and neatness....not having furniture is driving me nuts!!!!  So next weekend I will have my furniture and I will be a happy camper.

Well I hope this day goes by fast...I'm ready to start my three day weekend.  Have a great day everyone.  Bye.

Good afternoon Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

I am at work and looking forward to the end of the day.  BUT......when I went out at lunch, my car was DEAD!  They are trying to charge the battery now and I am hoping that it is just a bad battery....that would be an easy fix.  If it is something else, that could be an issue.  Good news is that we are now a 3 car family and I can ride to work with David if need be.  Still, it is a hassle.

Lisa-----glad that your new programs are not as bad as you has thought.  Sometimes when the "upgrade" it just makes life miserable until you get used to it.

Sandy--HAPPY BIRTHDAY a day late.  Glad to hear that you enjoyed it.

Crystal---I undertand that feeling.  As I get older, I find that I am getting more OCD about things, especially my house.  It will be strsightened out before you know it and you will hardly remeber these days.

We are having issues with BATS in our house and Liv and I got to battle one last night alone.  It was rather comical......us both shrieking and screaming and her under the dining room table with her phone trying to call a neighbor (who was not home) to help.  I finally netted it and took it outside.  I think it may be the same one each time since we are catching and releasing it.  I need to call someone about THAT too.

We have parties to attend and the hosting of the "Labor Day Rock City Thunder National Lawn Tractor Pulls" on Monday.  I think I will get a movie and chill out tonight to rest up.

Everyone have a super-duper day!

Tell someone that you love them!

We had bats in our house growing up.  I caught one in a pillow case...I was screaming because the bat was going nuts in the pillow case and I thought it was going to get out and attack me.  My neighbor (the neighborhood bully) came over and took the pillow case from me and chased me around the yard with it and then beat the pillow case against the house until it was dead...gruesome I know.  But I was relieved it was dead.  I thought that thing was going to bite me!!!  They are just the ugliest, evil looking things...yuck!!!

 Happy Friday Everyone!

I am soooooo glad that it is the weekend and a 3 day one at that!     I finished my computer training today and when I go in onTuesday I will have an entirely new way to do all of my work.  I just hope I can remember it all.   Otherwise, my average handling time is going to go through the ceiling!

I have no plans for the weekend but that is fine for me.  Rick and I will find things to do.  After Saturday it is supposed to cool off and I cant wait!

Lisa, it sounds like you have a fun weeekend planned.  Lots of things to do.  I hope you enjoy it!  I am glad that the new program is going good for you.  That is always a HUGE relief when it happens.

Sandy,  Happy Belated birthday!  It sounds like things went haywire this week for you.  I HATE weeks like that and does the AC have to poop out on the new heat wave AND your birthday to boot?  I hope you survive until Sunday.  It is going to cool off then.  I hate the expenses that houses bring.  I had to have a plumber out this week to replace the main drain from my tub as no water was draining.  It was totally clogged and we could not get the line clear.

Crystal, I am glad painting is going well for you.  You can always have a painting party and invite your new coworkers, daughter and son in law!    That would get things done fast!  I cant even begin to imagine living without furniture.  That would be so unsettling.  I know you are looking forward to having some furniture that you can arrange and rearrange!

Dawn, I hope your car got moving and that is was simple and all you needed was a new battery.  That would be a nice thing to happen.  I am not a grease  and when things break I just sit there and scratch my head and want to cry.  It sounds like your weekend will be all fun and games!  Good luck with the bats.  We had them at our former work place.  They are not fun! You need to find the spot they are getting into your house.  There has to be a crack or small hole in the attic area in which they enter.  That needs to be patched or blocked.  I hired a trapper for my racoon family last summer.  Best money ever spent!  Enjoy!

Everyone have a great evening!
