Walk From Obesity Event Sept 17th

On September 17th the Chicago area Walk From Obesity will take place @ the Oak Brook Park District (see link) http://walkfromobesity.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=d onorDrive.eventDetails&eventID=546 Life Weigh Bariatrics (LWB) will be sponsoring the event again this year. One does not need to be a patient of LWB to join the event. Pre ops, non ops, POs and all family members are encouraged to come as a group & join the event. You can walk inside or outside & how far you walk is up to the individual.

There will be a faffle with many prizes given out, information health tables, medical team tables & light refreshments such as water & fruit. Dave & I are carving out time in our busy schedule (we have a family wedding that day) to be there & participate. We believe in this cause (ASMBS Foundation) http://asmbs.org/  and support it. We shutter to think where we would be (8 yrs PO) if there were not an ASMBS Foundation to research obesity & educate the medical community & the general public.
