Good Morning Illinois,

We are so lucky not to be on the East coast this weekend. Hopefully, noone we know is affected to badly. I am thinking of Christina at this time, as well as a few friends that live out there.

Deb, I have been where you are with your furbaby. Over the years we have had to do the same thing for our dog and 2 cats. It is not an easy thing, but being good parents to our 4 legged babies, it is something that we have to do.

I didn't get out to work on my garden yesterday, again. Could it be that I really don't want to? I do want to paint the side door this moring. I want DH to take it off  and lay it flat. That way, no runs. It will be red of some shade.

What are everyones plans for today, and the weekend? We have none.

Hello everyone

Well my garage door opener didn't get installed as I had hoped.  It turned out the people didn't communicate well with the installer and he didn't realize that there was never any garage door opener in my garage.  Which apparently means they need to install brackets and they didn't have the parts for that.  The guy was really nice and it wasn' t his fault that no one told him to bring the extra parts.  So we have to reschedule....ugh!!!!

My patio set is coming today.  So that is something nice.  I will get that put together right away and get my patio looking pretty. 

Today I think I will be stopping by the gym to get my membership going.  Then I will stop and get my gardening supplies.  Tomorrow I have Comcast coming to install my internet.  I am sick of my internet.  And of course the highlight of my weekend!!!  I am getting my washer and dryer!!!

Wooohooo Friday is here....going to my PCP for my visit on Cpap stuff...
My weekend is free and time to enjoy feeling good by sitting outside and taking my first walk around the block with a friend of mine...

Lisa-  I painted my door two weekends ago.  I didn't have any problems with dripping.  I used a roller and then a bruch on the edges.

It's been a rollercoaster ride for me this summer. Everything going haywire at home and work.

I still love my DS. I'm slowly losing as I have issues with carbs - the enemy! It's been a year since my revision and I am happy with my decision.

Work is a bear. I have a boss who is power hungry. Then this week we were told that our CEO is leaving and becoming the CEO at one of our sister hospitals. We're going through a merger as well with Provena Health. Workload has been just awful. I lost my best employee who moved to California. Now I got a brand new inexperienced trainee.

My fitness center location closed its doors last month and I had to find another location. So now it's about 6 miles from home.

When it rains, it pours!

Just a quick note. I just got off the phone with my supervisor, we are having more, hopefully, handson training in Rock Falls Monday, and possibly
Tuesday and Wed.  My vacation is over:(

 Happy Friday Afternoon Everyone!  

Yeah!  I  made it to Friday.  That is the good news.  The bad news is I teach a class tomorrow so my weekend does not start yet.  I got Claude to his appointment and all is ok with him now.  Typical child, sic****il you take them to a doctor.   I am glad it was not serious.  

This weekend my other plans are making a wall hanging in red, white and blue.  We are celebrating on Friday and have special activities all week.  This is in honor of Labor day and 9/11 rememberance day.  

Lisa, I am sorry that your vacation ended so abruptly.  Nothing like advanced notice.  Sounds like my office.  Enjoy your weekend.  

Crystal, I am sorry your garage door did not get installed but at least it is not cold weather yet.  The new patio furniture will perk you up!  How exciting to get that this weekend!  

Sandy, I am so happy that you are feeling better.  Be sure to follow your surgeon's guidelines about eating.  Each one is different.  I had a VERY strict surgeon who did not believe in meats, fruits or veggies the first 3 months.  We had limited food but the results were a cast iron pouch!  Looking back, it was well worth it.  I have never dumped and have only had problem with food once.  

Lucy,  how wonderful to see you again!  We have missed you!  I am sorry things are so hectic right now for you.  It seems like when it rains it pours.  I am sure you will get things settled and working smoothly at work and look back and wonder what the fuss was about.  Come back again soon for a visit!  

Debbie, I am sending you positive vibes and hugs today.  It is a very difficult day for you and your family.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Furbabies are our family members as well.

Thank you all for your support.  I took my dog to the vet this afternoon, so far so good.  They did some testing and for now I still have her.  The vet wants me to see how she does and if her quality of life changes more, then we will have to have the big talk. 
Tonight we are just taking it easy.  My daughter has her first cold of the school yr.  She is running a fever and is coughing.  I have her laying down and taking it easy.  I need to do laundry as I am running out of necessary items!!
Not much else going on.  My life is in a good spot, I have many blessings and I am so thankful.
