Hello everyone

I am siting here relaxing at home....why you ask.  Because as of today there is no more overtime company wide.  No matter what NO overtime and there's a hiring freeze.  So they aren't going to replace my position.  I am so glad I am leaving there.  I would be financially strapped if I couldn't work any overtime at all.  I don't even know what my pay check would be without overtime...I've been working overtime for 7 years straight.  I almost feel like I'm getting out of there just in time!!!

Well I have three more days left and then I'm done.  Then I can focus on getting my apartment ready for the move.  This week is going by so slow for me.

Well I better start getting ready for work...boy this weird.  I am used to being at work by now.  See ya later.  Bye.

Good Morning.

Well, after taking the paper off my bathroom walls, and looking at the naked walls, I decided to repaper instead of painting. So, this morning I am heading to LaSalle, to go to Menards, and buy paper.

While I am in LaSalle, I want to go to Target too, to look for lamps for the bedroom.

I may stop at work and checkin with a friend to see if she has heard anything of the cuts we are expecting this year.

I hope no one got hit with the storms last night. We didn't get a drop of rain or wind. We still need rain, so I guess it will be watering the lawn this evening.

Have a great, cooler, day,
Huggers,

LISA

The weather was blistering humid up here yesterday. We kep****er in our hands at all times even though we walked everywhere. We got in 5+ miles according to my GPS pedometer. Today is pleasant and we are supposed to have sun all day.

Going to a small museum that is about 1/2 block from our motel and see it again. I love to hear the history of the Dells. The Indian Ceremonial the other night was good. Their regalia that they wear is fantastic. We took a cheese spread with crackers in a small cooler and enjoyed it but could not stay because it was way too humid. We went back and went into the pool. Just going to walk and take in the sun again today. We have kept our eating under control and mainly only eat 3 meals a day. Yesterday we treated ourselves and shared a no sugar added ice cream. I have been making 2+ necklaces a day which is good so I can add to my stock.

Dave and & are still planning on having a get together - we just have not nailed down a date. More than likely it will be towards the end of September as we have many of the weekends booked already.

Later gators!

Christine,
What brand pedometer do you have? I am looking to buy one, but to many to choose from.
Take care with the humidity.
Enjoy your trip!

Garmin 305. It has a foot pod that can be turned on when inside and it calculates the distance indoors. Otherwise I use it outside. It has a heart monitor strap also but I cannot run at the moment due to the surgery but that is my goal to start hitting the pavement again. I could not get 1/2 mile in the past without having to turn back for bathroom facilities. The unit gives a feedback of a lot of data.

I have a Garmin 205 also. I got the 305 via Amazon cheaper and the foot pod came from Garmin because at the time when it came out they were the only ones that sold it. Both the 205 and & 305 can be used for walking, you just choose the option called "Other" when you are out and about. It can be used on a bike, skiing, running. You can upload your data to your computer with  software that comes with it. I cannot remember if you can use it while swimming or not but it is waterproof.

Good Morning cyber friends,

Steve- looking forward to seeing your pics. Of course I have yet to post anything. As far you all know, I may be a spitting image of Angelina Jolie! . Hahaha.
Crystal- i think it is the wonderful blessings in our lives. Timing for you to leave could not be better. God or someone is sure watching over you. Count your blessings as the days go on. You will be so much happier with your new adventure.
Lisa- i hope you will be ok with your job. I hope if threere are cuts you will be spared. What a stressful time.

So, tomorrow, I believe I will finally get my new boy registered for school. His mom and here family ended uo moving into the district, however, they are in a one bedroom apt. There are 4 living there. Yes, it is s bit crowded here, but he has a bed and a place to close a door. Teenagers need their space.
Yesterday, I cooked dinner in the crockpot, chicken with creamed chicken soup, i guess the smells was getting to him. When the boys came home from visiting thier girlfriends, he went straight to the crockpot looking for the food. He told me has been cooking his own meals for over a yr. Wow, my kids would have starved! I have them so spoiled. Let's just say, Christian is eating well now.

Yesterday was my visit to the "women's" dr. (TMI moment) i guess with my age things a becoming erractic. My dr told me it is called Dysfunctional Bleeding. . What a great name! So of course, I had more blood drawn to rule out any issues. On the positive side, my weight is still going down! I think the body is past this little stall.
Tonight, I am having another sleep study. Need to see where the sleep apena is in my life. I am having issues like I had in the beginning but not as severe. Will be good to get answers.

Well enough babbling. Felt like chatting! Take care and drink yiur water. It is so humid out there!

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!

It will be good to be able to put a face to the name Steven!

I have been by reading this week, but have not had time to post.

I am glad that it is cooling down, I get tired of air-conditioned air all the time.

Liv and I have been holding our own at home without the boys, but I am starting to really miss them and looking forward to them being home.  Then.....a girl Liv went to Marine Biology camp with issupposed to fly in from New York for a visit!

Work is the same, and I really envy Crystal and her new life.  I need to do some serious stress relief.

Gotta get back to it right now.....

Everyone have a lovely day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Ahhh what a difference a day makes.  It is ONLY 86 degrees with a heat index of 91 and the humidity is really down.  So much better than yesterday.  Rick finally got my ceiling fan replaced last night and also the light bar over my kitchen sink.  I dont know what happened.  Both were on the same line so maybe a power surge got the whole thing.  All I know is it was running 80 degrees in my living room.  I called the plumbing and heating people today to have them come look at the ac.  I am only on the second year so something must be wrong.  It is not cooling completely.  It is always something.

Steven I am looking forward to seeing your before and after pictures and putting a face to your name.  Crystal, it is always nice when the old employer starts looking really bad before you leave.  It makes it much easier to leave.  Lisa, I am glad you got your wallpaper off.  I too hope any cuts do not affect you.  Christine, it sounds like you and Dave are having a wonderful time.  Debbie, I am so thankful that Christian is living with your family.  He will know how a normal family acts. Good luck on your sleep study.  I dont know why they call it a sleep study because you dont get any sleep.     Dawn, hang in there.  Things should improve at work when you lose a couple of workers.  You are doing it all now.  It will be just easier without the additional aggravation.

Everyone have a great afternoon!
