Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning.
This is the last day of July. The summer is going fast. I go back to work in less then a month
Even with the heat this summer, I have been enjoying it. but then, I still enjoy working too,
Monica, Morgan and I had fun shopping yesterday. We not only got what Morgan needed, but , I did get a nice long formal, to take on our cruise in April, for $20. at Debs, and some sweaters for this coming winter.I also found a pair of flats for work.
Then, last night, I met Hubert and some friends at an Italian place in
Toluca for dinner. I had cod, greenbeans and a salad.
Today, i will do laundry, and finish cleaning the 1 bedroom. I really want to get started on painting the bathroom.
Chicken breast on the agenda for dinner today.

Hello everyone
I did a lot of packing yesterday. My kitchen, bathroom, living room, and my bedroom is completely packed except the essentials. I will need to get small book boxes for books and canned foods and wardrobe boxes for my clothes that are on hangers. But I won't worry about that till next weekend. Even though there's a lot packed I still have so much to do. It just seems like it keeps multiplying. I threw away more stuff and here I thought I went through everything months ago. I washed out all of the cabinets.
I'm not sure how much packing I will do today. I will go get the Sunday newspaper and go to the farmer's market.
Here's a question for everyone....does anyone know of a charity that will pick the furniture up at your house. I mean that have to move it themselves...and not bring it to the curb or anything like that. If I can't sell anything on craigslist I need to be able to get rid of the stuff.
Steven- ever since I discovered abebooks.com I haven't gone to the book store. It's all used books so if it's new releases they won't have them. Otherwise most books sell for less than $5 and that's including shipping.

Another hot day again today! Will it EVER end? Yes I know I will be saying will it EVER get warm come January. You cant please me.
Yesterday I taught my check class and then Rick and I went looking for a ceiling fan. He broke mine in the living room playing with the cats. Boys will be boys. We also found a cabinet for the kitchen to store more things in. I have no storage in my kitchen and it sucks. It is nice to have more. After all the shopping, I had killed most of the day and went home and collapsed.
Today I slept in. And it is back to work tomorrow. I agree with Lisa
At least I get to get used to working again gradually.
Steven, I hope you have an enjoyable day today. Lisa, I am glad you had fun with your girls yesterday and that was a super find on the dress!! You have made me hungry for Mona's or Caponi's! Good idea. Rick is not from this area so I will have to introduce him to them. Crystal, it sounds like you have done alot already. You will be living out of boxes for the next 3 weeks. I always find that an adventure. Try calling Good Will or the Salvation Army and see if they will pick up furniture. I think Good Will still does. Or check wirh an area ARC. They often need furniture for group homes for the disabled. Sandy, best wishes tomorrow! Prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery! Woo hoo!
