Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I was very tired from all of the excitement yesterday. I am relaxing this morning.
Then I have some exercising to do. I bought this DVD to do, it's called "30 Day Shred" by Jillian Michaels. So when I'm home to workout I will be doing this DVD and the treadmill. I think that will be adequate.
I will be going to Meijer today for some fruit. I will be going out with a friend today. We are going to the movies and out for dinner. It's funny I have been here for years. But I mention I am moving away and people are coming out of the woodwork to go out with me, before I move away. I have a coupon to JCPenney, but I have decided no buying anything before I move. I am just adding to the crap I have to pack. I am trying to minimize the packing. So for now the shopping will be halted...of course that doesn't count the two books I bought at the used book store yesterday. I love used book stores and I will be near so many now!!! Some major packing going on today too.
I can't wait to move and get settled I want to start living my new life. I have heard nothing but great things about the new company I work for. It seems the owner is very philanthropic. He paid millions to have the local YMCA refurbished...things like that. As you know the company I work for is a soulless and greedy. Not only do they employ sexual harassers but they also cut our raises even though the company was making 850 million dollars...yep that's right...850 million dollars!!! So take my measly money and pad your profits!!!! Yesterday, when I was at the company, they were having employee appreciation day and they were having a big Hawaiian Luau. My company's idea of employee appreciation is giving us a mug and an ice cream bar...(I'm not kidding). They also have this thing where you earn money every month for not causing an accident and they pay us right before Christmas. The money you earn is comparable to one pay check!!! How nice is that!!!

Well for me today i have already done 4 loads of laundry. I going also shopping to day that way

Just think, in less then a month you will be entering into an exciting new life.
I am picking up the house today, and getting ready for both my girls and families to come swimming today. I have already started getting ready for a bbq this afternoon too.
I hpe the rain stays far to the north, at least until late this evening.
We have another wake to go to. One of the ladies that work for my husband, her 3 y.o. grandson drowned in a backyard pool yesterday. This will be the 3rd one in a week. Hopefully, this will be the last one.
I hope everyone is going to enjoy the weekend.

I have to tell you guys I just tried that DVD and it kicked my butt. I was silly to think I was almost in shape...ya right. This DVD just showed me how much I'm not in shape. I did the first two sessions and I was sweating like a pig and my muscles were screaming. Then I went on the treadmill and I could only do 20 minutes!!! I had to stop. Now I'm doing my stretching. Ugh!!! I will be sore tomorrow. If any of you want to try a workout DVD get Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shread!!!!

I was at the Peru Mall with my girls and we had so much fun I wi**** was cooler to enjoy shopping...
lots of sales that all I buy...My girls enjoy shopping for Fashion mix and match more the better it is...

No wakes for me please. So sorry for your people Lisa.
It looks like all the rain that was built up out west is either dissapating or falling to the west of us so if the chicken thighs and porterhouse I took out this morning have defrosted I will be lighting the grill to lay some smoke on the thighs before baking them and then cooking the porterhouse. Or maybe I will do that the other way around. I am paranoid about chicken spreading bacteria when not fully cooked.
Dr V left UIC and now the RD is leaving as well. If I am going to stay in the burbs I should try to hook up with the Kane center again as I understand Guske may take BCBSIL now.
