Funny you should say that about buffets.
I very seldom go to all-you-can-eat places to sit down. Only if the whole family wants to go, and then I get child's price with my card......but I DO enjoy going and getting a to-go box sometimes. Both Golden Corral and Chinese. I pay about $5.00 for a box of food and get 3-4 meals out of it. Then again, I don't rreally mind reheated food.
I DO find them a good choice because I can fill the box with protein and steamed veggies. Quicker than "fast-food" and much healthier!

I got mine from my surgeon's office.
I think there is one somewhere on OH that can be downloaded in a pinch.
Many restaurant's kids meals are just fried crap, but it comes in handy at buffets, where a child's price make more sense. My family loves those buffets!

Good Evening Everyone!
It sure was another hot day. I was out running errands this afternoon after physical therapy. I did have to pick the hottest day of the year to do that didn't I.
But I am now inside and nice and comfortable. I am worried about my outdoor cats though. One of them was panting heavily. I tried putting out a wet towel, hoping they would lay on that and cool off but no takers. I did give them ice water with their dinner. There just isn't much I can do. They are wild and will not come in the house.
Tomorrow I will have to venture out for therapy but that is all.
Christine, prayers for a safe and successful surgery tomorrow. May it fix your problem and give you a life without those nagging symptoms! Crystal, have fun in Champaign. I hope you like your duplex. Drink lots of water on the way down there. I went for my drug test for the current job and I could not pee.
Boy was that embarrasing. Just dont stop and go to the bathroom before the test. Lisa, enjoy your play tonight. I too am glad you got season tickets. It is so nice to be able to go out and enjoy an evening with your hubby. Sandy, I too did not do a last supper. I knew that I would be able to eventualy eat almost everything and did not feel the need to do that. As for the greek yogurt, Walmart sells some that has fruit in it. That is what I tried. It was tollerable. Dawn, tomorrow you get to pick up LIv.

Good evening all,
Wow what a whirlwind this week has been. First off allow me to say "It's a boy!". The young man who was to have stayed with us a few weeks has decided he wants to stay with us his senior yr. It will be my pleasure to have him but oh... so much to do to make room.
I need to get bunk beds for my son's room, been looking on craigslist. Need to make sure his mom registers at school and get her to give us legal guardianship while he is here. On the bright side, he plays high school hockey and it will be fun to go to the games!!!
His dad past away some time ago and he loves my hubby. They will be fixing his truck this weekend. I just hope the weather breaks.
Well, I need to run!
