Good afternoon Steven and the rest of Illinois!
I am working today, then maybe out to dinner with my hubby. We will see. I am feeling a bit "off" after lunch and hope that will go away.
Nothing exciting going on with me.....just work and not sure WHAT is happening this weekend. Maybe a barbeque and pool party?

Hello everyone
I am relaxing on my Friday off watching Law & Order. I did workout this morning. I wanted to get that in before I get lazy and don't do it.
Later today I will go out to Kohls and Meijer. Not much else going on today.
I had my review yesterday and my boss made me feel so bad. I haven't given her notice yet but she was saying things like "I don't know what we would do without you" and "you are someone I can really count on in the department" I practically winced every time she said something like that. But I have to remember no matter what my work situation is I would still want to move to be closer to Amanda. Regardless it made me feel bad.
Steven- Good luck on getting of your BP meds. I hated mine they made me sleepy and I coughed all of the time.
Well I better get going. I hope you all have a great Friday. See ya later.

Don't feel bad. Today, it is a dog eat dog society and your company can let you go without reason and without a second thought. I have seen it happen many times. Just be proud that you are doing such a great job!
At one time I felt like you do, but after being downsized twice, I no longer have the loyality to my work that I once had. I realize that they can let you go in a heartbeat. I see it every week where I am now.

Happy Friday! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and stays cool. It is supposed to be hot for the next week. Ugh!
Not much is happening for me. Today I had PT and then went and got groceries. I think I spend more at Walmart each week.
Nothing special planned for the weekend. Next week looks pretty lite as well except for a colonoscopy on Wednesday.
Then it is back to work for me the following week.

been a busy week running kids to the doctor I am so glad it is over...Monday I have my pre op test done, so do they do a upper GI on everyone that even has had there Gallbladder out already? dang if they do I hate that test...back in 1988 I had mine out the old fashion way nice cut a cross my tummy...my stomach looks like train tracks...well good night going to go ready...need sleep

I didn't have an upper GI...my doctor didn't require one. I had my gallbladder out a year before my WLS.
I am so glad I had my gallbladder out the easy way. I hear they still do it the old way if it's an emergency. So when mine started give me trouble and it was suggested I have taken out, I did. Turns out it's a good thing I did. The surgeon said my gallbladder was swollen twice it's normal size and would have burst at any time!!!!
