Thursday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Today is my Friday.  I have to use up some of my vacation time.  I might as well enjoy it now because at my new job I have to start from the bottom again...oh well.  

There is nothing special I am doing today...just work and working out.  

I can't wait till next Friday.  I get to go apartment hunting.  i haven't done this in years.  It's exciting.  It's also exciting because I will buy new furniture for my new place.  I haven't gone furniture shopping in a long time.  I get to buy new living room, bedroom furniture!!!  Also, Amanda's BIL works at Ashley Furniture in Champaign, so it works out perfectly.   

Well I better get going.  What are you guys up to today???

How fun!  Shopping for both things.  Your new chapter is coming along so nicely!

I talked to Liv last night!  Yippee!  She is doing very well, liking it and making new friends.  She was a little surprised by how much "lecture" and "learning" is happening.  She has been trolling on a boat for specimens and they got to "play" with different dead fish......she said she got to "play" with a hammerhead shark head and a HUGE Sturgeon head along with lots of other specimens......(we had to sing the "Fish Heads" song to her......)  They took field trips on Monday and Tuesday and did not get beck to the dorms until after 10:00 pm, then right to bed.  Yesterday, they had free time from after dinner until "light's out".  She says the heat is "not too bad" and that she got "only a little" sunburned on Tuesday.  I am SO happy for her!  This is really an opportunity of her lifetime!

Me......not much.  I got the triangle garden straightened out last night after I got home and tonight hope to plant a couple of last flowers.  The boys have a Scout meeting to discuss THEIR upcoming trip to Sea Base in the Florida Keys.  Liv will be home a week, then the boys will leave.

I am afraid I may have tendonitis in my left elbow.  I need to research.  It is very sore and it even hurts to pick up a coffee mug.  I have NO IDEA what I may have done to hurt it.

Yes, I know!!! And if she REALLY like this college, she will have a HUGE advantage!

We were all really surprised to hear that there are  a couple of students from Florida (Tampa and the Keys) that are attending.  Both places have Marine Biology Camps available (where we considered sending her)....we are thinking that MAY mean that this is a great program?

So glad you finally caught up with Liv and that she is having a ball!  That is always wonderful to hear!  

As for your elbow, you can get it in a variety of ways.  I got it from weeding an entire day.  I ended up having to have surgery on mine because it was so badly inflamed and trigger point injections did not help.  See an orthopedic surgeon to get help.  They can do the injections and many get relief from them.  I could not even open a file folder or tie a balloon!

I don't play tennis, but I know it is hurting more and more.  I am now having to take Tylenol every 4-6 hours, otherwise it is too painful.  I too get pain in the strangest ways....digging in my file drawer is one of them.  Heck, even typing is uncomfortable......

I was hoping it would just go away.  I've had enough of doctors and stuff!

You are going to have so much fun finding a new home and then furnishing it!  That is so exciting!  And, to have a son in law that can get you discounts .....
